The stone Louis gite is set in the village of Orgnac-l'Aven, between the Ardèche Gorges and Cèze Valley.
This wonderful stone house has been fully refurbished. It offers a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a triple bunk bed, a walk-in wardrobe with a washing machine, a bathroom with a double bowl sink and a walk-in shower, and a separate WC. The kitchen is fully equipped: induction hobs, oven, microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator. There is also a dining room, an independent lounge with a sofa bed, a TNT freeview television, an adjoining terrace, and a second terrace with panoramic view of the Cevennes. The pool area features a terrace with a shelter, a grill, a sink, a freezer, a small fridge, a WC, and a walk-in shower. You can find a car shelter.

A well equipped little gite with wonderful views in a brilliant area with lots of activities available. The house itself, the hosts and pool area all great. The two issues we found were 1. The air conditioning is not in the bedrooms, but in the living area, so if the doors to the bedrooms are not kept open at night the bedrooms get far too hot to sleep- thus the doors needed to be open meaning everyone was disturbed by everyone else at night and in the morning and 2. There were a lot of wasps around the pool and getting trapped in the pool and the kids didn't like that. Of course, when you chose an area so remote surrounded by lovely nature, you do have to share the space with insects, but beware.

Een Onvergetelijke Vakantie in Orgnac-l'Aven

Onze vakantie in Orgnac-l'Aven was werkelijk fantastisch! Dit charmante dorpje in de Ardèche betoverde ons met zijn adembenemende natuur, zoals de indrukwekkende Grotte de l'Aven d'Orgnac en de glooiende heuvels. We genoten van zonnige dagen aan de rivier, pittoreske wandelingen en gezellige avonden met lokale wijnen en lekkernijen. De gastvrijheid van de locals en de serene rust maakten deze reis onvergetelijk. Orgnac-l'Aven is een verborgen parel die ons hart heeft gestolen!

De magnifiques vacances, chez Cécile une hôte très sympathique et arrangeante. Elle et son conjoint ont su faire de leur gite un lieu unique. Il y a tout le confort, la tranquillité, la vue er une superbe piscine dans un cadre idéal. Des chemins de randonnées partent du gite et la region est remplie de trésors.

Absolut fantastisch!

Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und drei Grundschulkindern zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist hervorragend, es ist alles Sehenswerte gut erreichbar und man ist trotzdem nicht mitten im Trubel. Haus, Außen- und Poolbereich sind sehr gepflegt und mit Liebe gestaltet. schönes, idyllisch und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in diesem idyllisch und ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus mit schönem Poolbereich. Wir haben alles sauber vorgefunden und die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und ist bei Fragen jederzeit verfügbar. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken, tolle Wanderrouten und eine beeindruckende Tropfsteinhöhle ganz in der Nähe. An die Ardèche gelangt man in 25-30 Minuten Fahrzeit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Le paradis

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir je hatten. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die Cevennen, nachmittags entspannt am wunderschönen Pool - mit Außenküche, Bar, Kühlschrank, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen, abends den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Ardèche, Barjac, Aven d'Orgnac sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen. Perfekt für einen Rad/ Wander / Kanu-Urlaub. Cécile und Hérve sind sehr hilfsbereit, sympathisch und superfreundlich. Dankeschön!

Erholsamer Urlaub

Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus. Der Blick ist einfach fantastisch, der Pool wurde von uns intensiv genutzt und ein paar feigen konnten wir auch noch ernten. Die Schlafzimmer waren bei einer aussentemperatur von 34grad ziemlich warm, so dass wir auf die Ausziehcouch ins Wohnzimmer umgezogen sind, die erstaunlich bequem war. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr unkompliziert und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Erholung pur mit Pool und Aussicht

Wir waren im Juli 2023 zu Gast mit drei Kindern in diesem modernen Ferienhaus und haben uns glänzend erholt. Alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Highlight ist der uneinsehbare Poolbereich mit Blick auf Olivenbäume und Cevennen. Bei einem Glas Rosé auf der Extra-Terrasse vergisst man Raum und Zeit. Die Höhle von Orgnac ist einen Besuch wert, am Pont d'Arc haben wir herrlich gebadet. Man braucht 1:45h bis zu den Stränden der Camargue. Céline und Hervé waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber - Ihr Olivenöl ist exzellent! Und Retriever Will hat uns viel Freude bereitet!

un endroit agréable pour quelques jours de repos, et de belle rando et visite dans les environs

Belle propriété, avec une vue vers le Gard de la terrasse du dessus, exposition de la propriété plein sud, est bien ensoleillée, une petite piscine, bar, frigo, douche et toilette se trouve à la terrasse du dessous, c'est simplement magnifique, l'endroit est très agréable et merci au propriétaire pour leur accueil et bonne humeur.
