We are located in Franche-Comté, in Haut-Doubs at the Swiss border at 950 meters above sea level (near Neuchâtel and Yverdon les Bains) and 7km from the famous Château de Joux.
We are near Métabief and 2km from a famous cross-country ski resort in Switzerland (Les Cernets-Verrières): 50km of slopes at 1200m altitude!

We are near a wonderful natural lake for swimming or water sports: Lac de Saint-Point
It is the 3rd lake in France in the heart of the Jura massif (Doubs) for a multi-activity stay (hiking, fishing, rowing, ...)
Take the time to discover the Saut du Doubs through a boat trip.

Cross-country skiing and hiking trails are on site (Les Grandes Traversées du Jura, Cernets-Verrières ski resort 2km from the gîte).

Many visits are also available to you: The Lake Remoray reserve, the Loue valley, the Lison valley and its Devil's bridge, Morteau: the capital of French watchmaking, Métabief and the Mont d'Or ...

We have provided you with everything you need to make you feel at home in this 80 m² gite on the ground floor of the owners' chalet with 700m² of garden and southern exposure, near Pontarlier , Métabief, les Fourgs.
Parking spaces and coated road are reserved for you.

The kitchen :
Fully equipped, oven, extractor, ceramic hob,
microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer.
You will find everything you need to feel at home: dishes, stoves, coffee maker and electric kettle, toaster, blender, ...
You will also take advantage of the appliances for a convivial kitchen: raclette, fondue.

The living room :
After a day full of discoveries, what a pleasure to relax in front of a 105cm plasma screen, comfortably installed in your two sofas.
Not enough space to accommodate a passing friend? One of the sofas is convertible and has a very good mattress.

The master bedroom:
A double bed, high quality bedding, 2 bedside tables, a large wardrobe ... everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The second bedroom:
A large bedroom equipped with 3 single beds and their bedside tables as well as 2 large wardrobes to accommodate children, family, friends.
Need more privacy? the bedroom can be split in 2 by simply pulling the curtain.

The bathroom :
Shower, sink, mirror, but also hair dryer, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board ...

The exteriors:
What would a vacation be without barbecues on the terrace? Take advantage of the garden furniture, the shaded terrace, and the 700m² of garden to relax and observe the mountain view. With a little patience, you will see deer and chamois passing by, all to the sound of the bells of the Franche-Comté cows grazing in the fields.
