We spent 2 lovely weeks at this incredible home and enjoyed every moment. The setting is fabulous, the location can’t be beat and the house itself is gorgeous. We would love to return.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and experience. The home was beautiful, clean and spacious. And, the owners were extremely nice, accommodating, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the house so much we decided to extend for an additional 2 weeks. We look forward to returning!
The property is absolutely beautiful. Right on the lake with clear views of New York and the Adirondacks across the water. The house itself is beautifully constructed and has more than everything you need. Love the Master Suite occupying the entire second level. The screened in porch was awesome as well.
The neighborhood is very quiet and remote which was perfect.
Casey is very helpful and responsive for everything you need
This was our second visit (this summer!). In addition to the beautiful property, we got to enjoy biking down to Burlington and over to the Plattsburgh, thanks to the easy-access ferries. Those were the few times we actually left the property, because it such a nice environment, we weren't even tempted to go out to dinner. If you're looking for a peaceful vacation by the lake, this is the place.
This is an amazing property. Fantastic waterfront with sunset views over the Adirondacks. The house is thoughtfully designed, clean, and well appointed. The owners were extremely helpful and organized. Can’t say enough about our time here - and can’t wait to come back.
The listing does not do it justice! Beautiful home, wonderful owners. Everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend this property. We had plans for excursions and didn’t wind up doing many of them because we simply did not want to leave. Best sunsets ever!
We just checked out of this spectacular home on Lake Champlain. It is truly a gem. My mom and dad and my oldest son stayed with me and we all agreed this is a very special place. The view of the lake and the mountains both from the back yard sitting areas and inside the house are extraordinary. The home was well equipped and unique. We totally enjoyed our stay!
This is an unusually beautiful property. The large house has been meticulously designed with modern details throughout. There is plenty of space, a separate but attached apartment, garage, modern kitchen, even a huge screened-in porch. The house itself sits very close to the water, with many places to enjoy the view from. The rocky shore provides beautiful scenery and excellent swimming. The view across the lake is vast with the Adirondack Mountains in the background. The lake was surprisingly quiet even in early July. Casey and Dan were both great to work with and very nice people. Highly recommend the property, and we will be visiting again!
very clean had everything we needed to cook meals. very open and brightand everything worked well .
Beautiful view. Sunset. good size screened in porch. right on the water breathtaking. I would highly recommend this house and stay here again when in the area. Thank you for the experience.

Listen to the lapping of the lake
This is a gorgeous home and property and much larger and luxurious than the photos indicate! We had a wonderful week stay here in early October and cannot say enough about the home and the very nice owners. We were astounded by the gorgeous view and you can hear the lapping of the lake from the living room, the screened in porch, the master bedroom, the "apartment" (more on that below) and of course, from the back yard. The backyard has various areas to lounge, including a lovely covered (with a roof) deck built right over the lake. The architecture is lovely, the interior design with lots of wood accents, and the art from Central America all around is fits perfectly. The owners provide everything you could hope for including a kitchen stocked with large and small appliances, including a blender, popcorn machine. And there are TWO kitchens. There is an additional apartment on the second floor that has a bedroom, bath, living room, and kitchen. The "master" bedroom is also on the second floor, but up a separate staircase and it is lovely, with lots and lots of space for your clothes, comfortable king sized bed and an incredible view. All the beds were comfortable, including the downstairs bedroom, which has a "blow up" sofa bed mattress. We were visiting our child at UVM, so he and a couple friends stayed over some nights. There was plenty of room with an extra large bed in an alcove the master (!) and 2 comfortable sofas. We rode the bikes provided around the island and we visited an apple orchard and a vineyard/winery, which were both close by. The washer and dryer are both large. There are bikes, yoga mats, board games. Burlington is an easy drive about 20 or 25 minutes away. If you want to explore the Adirondacks across the lake, the ferry is minutes away. This is a perfect place to relax. meditate, write, do art and/or make big dinners (or bring in food from Burlington) and celebrate with family/friends. Renting this home is not inexpensive, but it is well worth the price and is the same price as renting a couple rooms at a hotel in Burlington (at least during the time period when we visited). The owners came by the first day to give us some information and show us how to use tv and internet. They live about an hour away, but also have a second home down the street from this home. We hope to return soon!
