About this property
Bozeman Retreat close to University, Trails, Museum, Oracle
During this time of the pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to keep our guest house extremely clean for each guest. We use disinfectant wipes for the most touched surfaces, wash all the laundry in hot water, open windows for air exchange and use a keypad for contactless check-ins. We hope that this extra care will make you feel safe, clean and right at home!
Our Wildside Retreat is your private getaway while you visit Bozeman, Montana and Yellowstone country. Located 3 miles south of downtown, you are surrounded by woodlands, fields and stunning mountain views. This one bedroom(queen bed), one full bath apartment within our home is located near our backyard pond and is but a one minute walk from Sourdough Creek Trail; a beautiful park with miles of nature trails for hiking, biking, and running. A separate entrance and parking area make your stay all yours, and we are on site for any assistance you may need.
Inside, you'll find a sitting area facing the pond, a full kitchen and an eating area. The bathroom features a shower/bath stocked with fresh towels, hair dryer and other amenities you may need or have forgotten. There is a washer and dryer in an adjacent laundry room available for your use. We also have high-speed wireless internet, a library of Denver's photo books and many others to browse, and board games. Enjoy sitting outside on your private porch overlooking the pond. If you need an additional bed(good for one person only) one may be added to the main room for $20/night.
Bozeman and the surrounding area offer world-class fishing, hiking, biking, rafting and skiing. Having lived here for many years, we are happy to make recommendations for your desired excursions. Yellowstone National Park and Big Sky are both easy day trips, and Bridger Bowl Ski Area is a short 15 minute drive from town.

About the host
Hosted by Meagan

We built this home at the beginning of our marriage. Both avid world travelers for work and adventure, we decided to open our home to kindred spirits. We are in a unique setting with beautiful pond and mountain views, and surrounded by parkland while still being close to downtown Bozeman. We enjoy the outdoors and look forward to sharing our love of Montana with our visitors.
Why they chose this property
This property chose us! It was a vacant lot for many years until Denver purchased it and we built our home here. It is close enough to town and also to a vast trail system that we use every day for walking our dogs, riding bikes, running and walking with friends. It is a great meeting place for birders, bikers, hikers and neighbors you know and have not yet met.
