6 Black Duck is a beautiful six bedroom, five and half bathroom oceanfront home located in Sea Pines. With 6,465 square feet – this home can accommodate up to twenty two guests. The home is directly next to a beach path - making it a super easy walk to the beach!

The pool and spa are located on the ground level with a sun deck on both sides of the pool. The pool and spa can be heated seasonally for an additional fee. This home has both a standalone gas grill and a built-in gas grill with a mini-fridge.

Main Level:

The main level is located up one flight of stairs. The first living room that has floor to ceiling windows with oceanfront views. There is a small porch with chairs for relaxing outside. A powder room is located close to the foyer.

The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas stove, and a double oven. There is a sitting area just off the kitchen with a large flat screen TV. The wet bar has a wine fridge, sink, and standalone ice maker.

A few steps away you will find the formal dining room with seating for up to ten. Plus there is a breakfast table plus bar top seating in the other room.

The master bedroom is oceanfront with a king bed, flat screen TV + access to the oceanfront porch. The private master bath has a walk-in shower, separate soaking tub + his and her sinks.

The second bedroom has a king bed and a flat screen TV. The private bath has a soaking tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and granite countertops. Just outside this bedroom there is a twin bed and pull out twin trundle at the end of the hallway.

2nd Floor:

Bedroom three has two queen beds with ocean views. Bedroom four has a twin bunk bed. Both have flat screen TVs and share an updated bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The fifth bedroom has two queen beds and oceanfront views. There is a flat screen TV and sitting area in the bedroom. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub.

The sixth bedroom has a king bed with a flat screen TV. The private bathroom has a soaking tub, separate walk-in shower and his and her sinks. There is also a small room that has a twin/twin bunk & pyramid bunk (full on bottom, twin on top) for extra sleeping options. This small bunk room would need to share a bathroom with one of the other bedrooms.

• Pool/Spa Info: 17 feet by 26 feet. The pool and spa can be heated seasonally for an additional fee. The spa can be heated year-round for an additional fee. The pool can only be heated for stays falling between Labor Day through Memorial Day for an additional fee. No pool heat is available during the summer months. Please email or call us at least two weeks before your arrival if you would like to add pool/and or spa heat + pay fee.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The area is so relaxing. The landscape and the trees make you feel at peace. Nice property! Very clean, loved the ice machines, outside and in! Canopy quit working, was stuck out , which helped with the rain we experienced! Would recommend. Few minor issues, but nothing to complain about.

6 Black Duck Ideal Family Beach Vacation

The property was the perfect destination for our family beach vacation. We hosted our three grown children and their families of 14 ages 4 to 77. The house is spacious enough for everyone to have their own place to gather, sleep and play. The gourmet kitchen is wonderfully stocked and appointed, a dream to gather and cook in. The outdoor spaces are comfortable, beautifully landscaped, and only a short walk to the beach. Thanks to property management everything about our stay was easy. When asked, my family had only one suggestion…”next time, let’s stay longer!”

Best adult family vacation

We booked this house to enjoy with our 5 adult children and 2 significant others. Because of college and work lives it had been many years since we were all together. It was just perfect. Plenty of room and we made use of the whole house. We had a nice dinner celebration in the dining room and enjoyed the pool and beach every day. It was perfect. The management company was so responsive. We were sad to leave and will definitely book again.

The outdoor living area had several tables, a huge grill, a beautiful pool, and a private walkway to the beach. It is in a very secluded area, with lots of room to spread out on the beach. We couldn't be more pleased and look forward to staying here again.

That said it is 100 yards from the beach and most of the space is owned by a land trust. The proprrty a offers a lot pf lot of privacy. The home is spacious and has an outstanding kitchen. As with any home this size the is always something that needs maintening and Coastal Homes is very resoponsive to items such as replacing a light bulb or fixing a stoped up sink or repairing an icemaker. This was our 4th stay in this house and we have rented again for 2025.

It is beautifully decorated both inside and out. The outdoor space was fabulous. We had a couple minor issues that the management company responded to immediately. My one complaint was that upon checkout I was required to wash, dry, fold and put away the beach towels. I paid a hefty service fee which I think includes a check out clean. I felt that laundering the beach towels should be part of that fee. Because check out is at 10am and I needed to do that laundry my grandchildren weren't able to swim the morning of our departure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House location was great. Right on the Beach. But we found Black mold on the air registers in several rooms. The air intake vents were covered with an 1/2 inch of dust. Can't imagine what the air filters look like. I can't tell you how many tiles on the floor were cracked or broken. Some were covered by rugs. Carpets were filthy I don't know when they were cleaned. Very disappointed by this house. The walls were cracked in some places bad. But the mold is a problem. The management company was so nice to work with before we arrived. They were great helping me with information about restaurants and catering companies etc.

Everybody from 13-80 had something to do everyday - it was fantastic!

The pool deck has multiple sitting locations and a built in grill, fridge, bar and ice maker - perfect for hanging by the pool all day! Walking distance to the Salty Dog which has a variety of offerings for breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream. Short drive to multiple golf courses.
