This condo was perfect as a base for us to do many outdoor activities on Deerhurst's property, skiing right next door at Hidden Valley as well as other activites and dining in the surrounding Huntsville area. Great amount of space for our family, and condo was well appointed. Perhaps a couple cookie sheets or some pan that can go in the oven might be helpful to add to the kitchen supplies. Our host was excellent at communication as well. Thankyou for a nice stay for our family.

Deerhurst Experience

We spent a week here and had a great time on the resort, the room was great for 3 couples and it housed us comfortably. The unit was clean enough overall. This is a great way to experience the resort.

Great location! Nice unit.

The condo was large enough for six people and with three bathrooms it made it ideal. Nice views. My wife and I own a condo in Florida and we rent on VRBO so it was nice to see it from a renters perspective. Rent this unit you will not be diapointed!

We attended a wedding at the Deerhurst Resort this past weekend. The condo was perfect for us as each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchenette has the basics but if cooking, you will want to bring some items or check with the owner prior to arrival. Very close to the resort. The front desk arranged for a shuttle (at no extra charge) to and from the resort which was fantastic. The owner was quick to respond to all our queries. Would stay here again. Note: The pool was closed but I had to rate it anyway, so VRBO needs to correct that.

Excellent layout - convenient parking and getting around. Easy communication with the service provider. The unit was not completely clean when we arrived - vacuumed and wiped down the kitchen and tables - something we took care of ourselves. Overall a great unit and we would book it again!

Great location

Tricky to find on the property but we did arrive when it was dark so that played a part! LOL My only feedback was the beds are newer memory foam and on the harder side, where I prefer a softer mattress. The pillows were amazing though! All in all a great option for renting in the area!!

Deerhurst Getaway

The inside of the condo was clean, the view was great but the decor was old and there were things that needed repaired. The pictures do not show the true nature of the condo. This was not a newly renovated luxury condo as shown. There was 4 adults and the kitchen was only about 6x8 and not well stocked, very crowed so we ate out a lot. We enjoyed ourselves despite of the disappointment in the condo.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry to hear the condo was crowded and not up to your exceptions. The condo is 1350 square feet and accommodates 8 people comfortably.

The place is as described, Frank is responsive. My experience was terrible though as we arrived to a condo that was left exactly as the previous guests left it, without cleaning. This not only made me feel terrible, it was an embarrassing situation as I was hosting my family from Europe. Upon contacting Frank, cleaning was arranged for a time that left us in the dirty unit for 20 hours.

The condominium was spacious but it was not clean at all. The hairs were found in the bathroom tub and sink and the comforters provided. since this place is heated by baseboard heaters, the air gets very dry. The fireplace was also not working.
