About the host
Hosted by Tim
Aging Contractor and former restaurant manager. Grew up in this beautiful area, Raised one kid thats out in the world now and have two more at home. This strategic partnership with my mom ;) offered me the ability to make a valuable impact on a distressed property in the neighborhood and hopefully offer some wonderful people a great and reasonably priced place to stay. We've had great success so far and have enjoyed meeting a number of wonderful people. They've used this place as home base for baseball adventures like the Youth Tournament camps, Trips to Omegang Brewery, The local concerts, Oneonta Colleges graduations and events, other sporting events( The Cornell Rosy Thorns stayed while participating in an ultimate Frisby tourney) Baseball Hall of Fame trips and more. Not one complaint about the location being inconvenient, probably because its comfortable private and reasonably close to lots of things.
Why they chose this property
As I mentioned I grew up around here. A lot of property in the area has fallen into disrepair. This was one of them. I'm passionate about renovation and particularly enjoyed this opportunity to renovate a place thoroughly, for myself and technically for you the potential client.
What makes this property unique
This house is situated privately, with an awesome yard, a big shaded front deck, a white gazebo and about a million other things I'm forgetting to put in here. Here are things I do remember, It's convenient and sort of centrally located between Oneonta and Cooperstown, though its closer to Oneonta, the actual baseball parks are approximately 10 miles from this location. Less than a mile from Goodyearlake/Silliman Cove Access park, offering fishing and swimming. Kayak Rental is a phone call away or Silliman Cove has a car top boat launch if you want to bring your own kayak or small car top boat. This house is the perfect spot, not ridiculously expensive and is close to everything you would need for home base
