Experience the serene beauty of Granny Kent Pond with a stay at our cozy Granny Kent Cottage. This charming rental boasts an open kitchen and living room, perfect for spending time with family or friends while enjoying stunning views of the 52-acre pond. Relax on the comfortable sofas and watch your favorite shows on the 50" Smart TV with access to popular apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube (no cable).

We provide bed linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a coffee maker, blender, toaster, crockpot, grill, dishes, and utensils. Stay connected with our free WiFi and enjoy the convenience of a washer/dryer on-site.

The first floor bedroom has a queen-size bed. The main bath is on the 1st floor, while the main bathroom is on the smaller side, it's fully functional. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms with a queen bed in one and a twin bunk bed and queen-size bed in the other.

Head down to the finished basement to play a game of ping pong or grab a drink from the second fridge/freezer. The half bath is easily accessible from the backyard and pond.

Grill your dinner on the provided propane grill (starter propane included; refill station nearby) and gather around the fire pit for an unforgettable evening under the stars. 50 feet of private water frontage. Guests have full access to the property, the water. Available for use are 3 Kayaks, 1 stand up paddleboard, varies floaties, a row boat and a peddle boat.

Great central location for hiking in the white mountains or a quick trip north to Portland or south to Portsmouth. 1 hour to North Conway, Mount Cranmore Ski Resort and Gunstock Mountain Resort.

This was a perfect setting to be together with my family! The location was ideal and the cottage was so clean! Summer Family Vacation Week! House was absolutely perfect for a family of 4 with 2 small dogs and room to spare. Really nice neighbors and neighborhood… we had plenty to do around Maine for the week and having fun in the lake with ALL of the water activities including paddle boards, kayaks, a row boat, tubes, and more. We enjoyed fishing in the lake and our nightly fires too. It was exactly the stay we wanted and the house has everything you need. Great house, great owners, great price. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this beautiful property! The house was cozy, clean, and incredibly well-stocked with kitchen supplies, which made cooking all our meals a breeze. We enjoyed eating outside at the picnic tables, taking in the peaceful surroundings.The pond was the highlight of our trip—so serene and perfect for swimming and kayaking. The shallow areas are great for little ones to splash around safely. Beautiful - even in the rain!

This house sits on a beautiful lake with gorgeous views from the living room and upstairs. Even though it was raining all day Saturday of our weekend away, we enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the kitchen and comfy couch. It was great to bring our dog, too - he had a great time.

Our family and dog had a wonderful time on the Pond. The foliage was so beautiful!

This home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. We enjoyed the kayaks and rowboat, and evenings by the fire pit were so much fun! We were only an hours drive to Portland so we enjoyed the best of both worlds. What a great time and a great place to stay for our family. Our bulldog Winston loved it too. It was his first road trip with us. We appreciated being able to bring him along.

The house is so comfortable and clean! Kitchen supplies have been updated since last year. It has everything you need to feel at home. One thing you can never control is the weather and we were not able to have too much outdoor time. We’re hoping for more sun next year!

Perfect Getaway

We spent a few days at this lake home to relax and celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time and we were so happy to be able to bring my dog along with us. The house is clean and very well equipped. The beds are super comfortable. The yard has all the comforts of home and more. The neighbors are close by but they are very nice and pleasant to chat with. I'd love to see the hammock restrung, but other than that everything was perfect. I highly recommend this property.
