Disappointed

The unit smelled like mold, the key stuck in the lock, the bathroom counters are very low. The tv was very hard to navigate. There was water stains on the ceiling. There was mold on the shower curtain and shower handle wasn't secure. The back porch wasn't clean. Bathroom doors did not close properly. It was hard to find the building upon arrival. The pics didn't do justice.

Our unit was dated in some areas - carpet, bathrooms, kitchen appliances. It was nice enough, but it could use some improvements.

Great location!

Our first time staying in Arcadian Dunes. We have three small children and the two bedroom was plenty enough room. One kiddo in each bed and one on the sofa. Short walk to the beach (about .3 mile). This building is the furthest in the complex from the ocean and the on-site pools. Very convenient to Kroger, Walmart, Tanger Outlets, etc. We loved the ease of checking in and out. Washer and dryer was a must! Love the convenience of having that in the home we can just wash and dry at our own leisure. We had a few small issues-the home is a little outdated and in need of some repairs. The shower in the master bath (only bathtub) ran only showers and water poured out the shower button the entire time water was running (with little kids, we needed a bathtub and this was a bit of an inconvenience), the coffee pot needs to be replaced, and the beach chairs are rusted and were difficult to open/close. We ended up having to purchase our own beach chairs. We cooked our own meals there in the unit and on the grill right outside (bring charcoal and lighter fluid if you plan to grill). I guess with our family size, We used more of the incidental things than expected. We were short on the provided laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags so we had to make a shopping trip for these things. We took notes on what we can do to make our stay better next time. Overall, it’s a great place to stay!
