Charming 3 bedroom, 3 bath home located just across the street from public beach access. Take in the gulf views while you enjoy your morning coffee or evening cold beverage on the front porch or the master bedroom balcony. This home is newly remodeled with laminate flooring throughout and bright quartz countertops in the kitchen. Conveniently located close to the excitement and shopping of Pier Park, but on the quiet west end of Panama City Beach.

One of the best little diners on the beach is just one block away and major grocery stores are less than 1.5 miles away. Comfortably furnished with an overstuffed couch, dining table to seat 6 people, and even a fully loaded bookcase packed with perfect beach-read novels. There is even a 2-car garage. Enjoy the large yard which is actually the combination of 3 individual lots. Plenty of room to throw a ball or Frisbee. Roast marshmallows over a fire in the backyard fire pit. Great vacation!

The house was perfect for us! My husband, kids (18-18-14) and myself. It’s a quiet and comfortable neighborhood! The walk to the beach was short and easy! Lots of space outside! We had everything that we needed. My husband and I are already talking about coming back on a couples trip!

There is a nice area for a picnic as well as a fire pit and a peaceful area/ second drive. The only downfall was the mattress in the upstairs bedroom. Either the mattress needs changed or at least turned as there were some deep grooves. We had a fabulous time as we spent most of our week on the beach and in the water. An outside shower would have been wonderful with the many, many showers we took daily but I don't know where it would have been conveniently located. The views were incredible!

We arrived to a clean house with a good amount of cooking utensils to use. (Bring seasonings though) We had 4 adults and were very comfortable in the house. We did have to go by a fan to help keep the upstairs room cool enough. The A/C didn't seem to be able to keep up. 74 minimum temp at night is a little warm. There was a grill that was a nice surprise. Overall though the house was great. We would rent the house again. We would definitely go through Blue Swell again. They were excellent to deal.with and very informative. Thank you!

Great Trip

Property very very clean. We were not there for fun. We were moving parent and had to clean out her house to sell. So your rental was right by her and we could come in at night and relax and rest comfortably. Thank you for the clean comfort.

You can see the ocean from the upstairs balcony. Short drive to good food- Thomas Donuts, Donut Hole, and Shaka Sushi. Also a couple minutes from grocery stores, within 15 minutes of Pier Park mall, and about 40 minutes from Miramar beach Silver Sands outlet mall. This is a great location because the beach is not too busy and you are an easy drive to get to other attractions.

perfect home so close to the beach

We stayed at Pelican’s Nest for a week after school ended. We have a family of four, and it was perfect. We were so pleased with our choice. It felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed; the kitchen was well stocked and there was room for everyone. The house was clean and looked freshly painted. I loved all the hand-painted artwork. The best part was that the beach was right across the street. We could park in the driveway and not have to move the cars all day. And the grocery store was just down the street, probably less than half a mile away. We even walked to Sunnyside Grill one day for lunch. I can’t wait to come back, and would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Relaxing stay at Pelican's Nest

Quiet beach and steps away from the beach access. Was worried about the lack of a door on the Master Bedroom upstairs, but was not an issue. Well equipped kitchen, and a two-car garage was a plus.Only TVs in two bedrooms, but young adult daughter and friend made due. Very picky wife said the Master bed was the most comfortable of ANY place we've stayed, which says A LOT! A/C worked well, but Master Bedroom was not quite as cool due to it's being on the second floor. Fortunately, we brought a fan, so all was good. We would definitely stay here again. Close to the West End PCB, including Pier Park, and close to the 30A scene as well.

Clean, Nicely located

I would rate around 3.5 if possible. You honestly can not get in at 3:59 so find something to occupy your time if you arrive any earlier than 4:00. House is clean. Fan upstairs stopped working, found tools and got it working but didn’t use because it was so off balance it looked like it was going to come out of the ceiling and made an awful noise. We ended up having to buy a box fan because the temperature upstairs was drastically different than downstairs. Bring EVERYTHING you could possibly need besides sheets and towels, spoons, forks, plates. Nothing else is provided. There are beach chairs but none that you can use, all broken, need to be thrown away. Boogie boards are broken but I’m sure you can manage with them. The locations is great; just a short walk to the beach access. You can see ocean from both balconies.

We loved the house layout (2 bedrooms down, 1 up) and we loved the beach access was literally right across the street. The beach was not crowded, despite being a public access. We also loved the house has a garage with 2 different driveway entrances and a lot of parking space in the back. The fire pit was really fun, too. The only thing I did not like about the house was not having a better equipped kitchen. There were limited utensils like only one set of crab leg crackers, no cutting knifes, and no spices at all. I have stayed at many units where there was at least salt and pepper. This unit didn’t even have that. Also, the fridge freezer isn’t working 100%. All of our ice cream and popsicles were sort of half way or 3/4 melted the whole week. Other than the kitchen, we enjoyed it and would rent this property again. Last thing! The blue swell agents were so nice and accommodating! Great job!

Perfect Beach Property!

The house was so nice! It was larger than we anticipated as it seemed to look smaller in the pictures. There was more than enough room for our family of 6. The house was very clean and had everything needed to make our stay easy. We loved the blue ribbon wrapped towels and complimentary soaps - this was a really nice touch and gave a welcoming feel. We were all so happy to have the beach access directly across the street, which made for easy beach days. We really loved the Pelican’s Nest and will definitely book this property again!

Spring break family vacation

This is our fifth or sixth time to the area for spring break with our boys and this was a wonderful stay. Everything you need and right across the street from beach access! Shopping and activities are close yet is far enough from the busy areas so young families can enjoy the quiet. Highly recommend! Thank you!!

And you can't beat the proximity to the beach - the public access is right across the street. The only things we didn't love were (1) the washer/dryer are out in the garage, (2) the upstairs master bedroom does not have a door for more privacy/block noise from downstairs and (3) it may be time for a new living room sofa as the cushions are no longer very supportive. That being said, none of those are big enough deals to keep us from choosing this house again. It was a great stay overall!
