About this property

Living on Mountain Tyme | Ellijay, GA

Pet-Friendly Ellijay Cabin with Mountain Views, Hot Tub, Fenced Yard & Game Room
Mountain views. Sunset skies. Wraparound decks. A private hot tub. A fenced yard for the pups. And a game room made for staying in.

Welcome to Living On Mountain Tyme, a pet-friendly cabin in Ellijay, Georgia, where the outdoor living is just as impressive as the inside. Tucked away on more than 6 private acres in the North Georgia Mountains, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin sleeps up to 4 guests and brings together the views, privacy, amenities and classic cabin atmosphere you want in a mountain getaway.
And those views? They're worth slowing down for.
Start your morning with coffee in a rocking chair as the mountains come to life, spend the afternoon exploring Ellijay, then come home in time to watch the sky put on a show. The mountain and sunset views at Living On Mountain Tyme are a highlight of the stay, and the cabin gives you plenty of places to enjoy them.

Outdoor Living Made for Mountain Time
The expansive wraparound decks are an extension of the cabin itself, with rocking chairs, a porch swing and multiple spaces to sit back and enjoy the fresh North Georgia mountain air.
One of our favorite spots is the covered outdoor living area featuring a beautiful stone fireplace, comfortable seating and outdoor TV. Catch the game by the fire, enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of wine, or simply sit back and take in the peaceful surroundings.
Ready to relax even more? Head down to the private hot tub and soak away the day beneath the trees. Fire up the grill for dinner, then gather around the outdoor firepit as the temperatures cool and the stars come out.
Around here, there's really no reason to rush back inside.

A Cabin Your Dogs Will Love, Too
At Living On Mountain Tyme, pet friendly means more than simply allowing your pups to come along.
The cabin features a fenced-in yard, giving your four-legged family members their own outdoor space while you enjoy your mountain getaway. Inside, there is also a dedicated pet room, a thoughtful bonus for guests traveling with dogs.
That same space doubles as a work-from-home area, giving you a dedicated place to open the laptop, answer a few emails or take a call before getting right back to vacation mode.

Classic Cabin Comfort
Step inside and you'll find the warm wood interiors and rustic character of a true North Georgia cabin. The main-level living room offers comfortable seating, a TV and a beautiful stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace, creating the perfect gathering spot for cool mountain evenings.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your stay, whether you're making a quick breakfast before heading into Ellijay, preparing dinner for the group or pouring a glass of local wine to enjoy on the deck.
Gather around the dining table for meals together before deciding what comes next — hot tub, game room or another sunset from the porch.

Two Private Bedrooms
The main-level queen bedroom provides a comfortable and convenient retreat with easy access to the cabin's main living spaces.
Upstairs, escape to the private king master retreat, tucked away from the rest of the cabin for a little extra privacy. Wake up surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, take your time getting ready for the day, and enjoy having a peaceful space all your own.
The upper level also features a private bathroom with a jetted tub, giving you one more place to relax during your stay.

Let the Games Begin
Head downstairs and you'll find an entire second living and entertainment space.
Challenge the family to a game of pool, see who earns vacation bragging rights at the foosball table, or settle into the comfortable couches and catch a movie on TV.
A cozy fireplace makes the lower level especially inviting on cool evenings, while direct access to the lower covered deck makes it easy to step outside and head straight for the hot tub.
With two living spaces, everyone has room to spread out while still enjoying time together.

Come Live On Mountain Tyme
Whether you're planning a romantic mountain escape, a getaway with friends or a pet-friendly vacation with your dogs, Living On Mountain Tyme gives you plenty of reasons to stay awhile.
Spend your days exploring everything Ellijay and the North Georgia Mountains have to offer, from local wineries and apple orchards to hiking, shopping, dining and outdoor adventures. Then head back to your private cabin, fire up the grill, sink into the hot tub, challenge someone to a game of pool and grab a rocking chair before the sun goes down.
Because sometimes the best part of a mountain vacation is having nowhere else you need to be.

Quiet Peaceful and Beautiful

We came up for my girlfriends birthday. The place was as advertised. We were looking for something quiet with great to views. This place did not disappoint. After our daily activities it was nice to sit on the porch and just relax with the dog and here nature. Speaking of dogs the porch is awesome. We could relax outside with him and worry about him getting out as the porch and yard are fully enclosed with gates. If renting here I would advise as the owner says to have a 4wd drive vehicle. I will definitely be coming back.

We rented the Cabin called Living on Mountain Tyme.

We rented the Cabin called Living on Mountain Tyme. It was more than we expected. The details say they provide a starter kit so we took more supplies just in case. To be honest, they provided much more than that and we were surprised. This is awesome. The cabin is well taken care of and smelled fresh as soon as we walked in. There is a TV in all the rooms with Direct TV. OMG and the beds must be Memory Foam. I love these beds. Now for the drive...It is a drive that will grow hair on your chest and although we did not have a 4WD vehicle, it made it up the mountain easily. We have a Chevy Equinox and it made it good. Just keep momentum up the hills and go really slow going down and you will be ok. Take it easy, you are on vacation, no rush. The employees in the call center were always helpful and always available on call. I actually got a little scared on the last leg of the mountain and the maintenance man Drew and Blake came out and ensured we were safe. We are enjoying our stay and looking forward to booking again in the future.

Mountain Tyme

The cabin was exceptionally clean, inside and out. The furnishings were fine. We were a little taken aback by the road in which was a 6 - 8 mile per hour drive, dodging the pot holes and ruts.
