Heavenly place on earth

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is the best deal you can get: location is great to explore the island. 1,5 hours driving time north and south. Perfectly located at the beach, which is in walking distance. The view to the sea is great, we had perfect sunrises. The apartment itself is perfectly equipped. Everything we needed was there. Supermarkets, restaurants and foodtrucks only a view minutes to drive. The resort is great with a nice pool, tennis court and BBQ. It was our third time in this apartment and we will certainly come back.

Location is perfect. Easy and quick to anywhere you’d like to go on the island. Beautiful view, walk and beach right outside your door. Property has nice beach towels and beach chairs for your use. Kitchen has all items needed for cooking—-.if you like to cook with spice, you’ll need to pick some up but basics of salt, pepper, garlic powder are there. Cooler for your use as well. Would absolutely stay here again—-perfect home base to explore the island and a nice place to spend a quiet beach or pool day, too. My family and I loved it here!

Leading up to our week long stay, the communication was super-efficient and positive. The check-in was flawless and instructions on how the condo operated as well as suggested sites to see were readily available. The unit was clean, well-stocked/appointed, and perfectly located in a very quiet beachfront area, on pristine grounds and the views from the patio and interior were breathtaking. There were beach chairs, pool noodles, games, books, and a big selection of TV Channels although we only watched one movie during our stay. The unit has ample room, the kitchen is functional, and the front porch with mountain views is a bonus. We used the laundry facility with no issues and it takes credit card for simplicity. The walking trail along the beach allowed access to the beach and Lyngate Beach Park. I/we highly recommend this property.

Peaceful beach front

Perfect location, quiet, beach walks and close drive to other adventures. Roomy for two couples to be together but have their own bed/bath space.

The condo was perfect! Clean and a great view of the ocean. We had a couple minor issues that were passed on to the property manager, but nothing that hampered our stay. I would recommend this condo!

Always a good stay in kauai

Condo a little old, but overall everything you would need. Kahalani is in a great location. Lots to see and do, and a slower pace from other islands. Thankfully. Units all face ocean, so beautiful views and sounds of the ocean.

Great location

The view was amazing, beach across the lawn, snorkeling/kid cove a short walk down a sidewalk. Could not have been more perfect for us. The cove was not crowded at all in the mornings. Sometimes only 5 or 6 other people there. Afternoons had more but still not crowded like other beaches we drove to.

My wife and I and daughter and son in law just had a wonderful 10 days at this property. The view was stunning, the condo had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. It is centrally located to cover both the north end of Island and the south part of island.We would recommend this property and would return here also.

Great place for the price

The condo location was very nice, the beach is quiet and the parks nearby are a nice feature. The couch that my son slept on made him sick every night, the property manager was requested several times to fix the main floor shower that didn’t drain, so we had 5 people sharing 1 bathroom the entire week, but overall we would come back to this condo again.

Thank you for your review. We're happy that you would return on another visit! It is a convenient location on the island with a great view. We're sorry the sofa bed did not work well for your son. The owner has been sleeping on it for the last 3 weeks with no issues. The sofa is cleaned on a regular basis and the housekeeper checks it after every guest. The request for the clogged drain was made on March 19th to the repair person to take care of the repair. Unfortunately there was a delay and it took until March 22nd for the drain to be cleared. We Apologized for this inconvenience.

Perfect spot with beautiful beach views and access!

We visited Kauai for 5 nights as part of a 40th birthday celebration trip. The trip couldn’t have been better! The location of this condo is amazing with quick access to basically empty beaches! Walking to Lydgate Beach was so fun and the closet of beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, sandmat, etc. was great. It’s quiet yet easy to get to lots of stores, restaurants, beaches, etc. 10/10 would recommend! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Condo

The condo is exactly as described, although the pictures make the condo look smaller than it is. The view is stunning and instantly puts you in vacation mode! The condo had everything we needed. The complex was well taken care of and drew a lot of families. We found being on the east side a perfect location for navigating the island. While the airport is close, we didn’t hear any aircraft noise. We highly recommend this condo.

Central location

Good spot as a home base for island. Most days we spent most of our time in north or south areas. River is very close for cool kayaking trek. Nice beach view for morning coffee. Swimmable beach 10min or less walk on paved path or down beach. Large grassy area in front of unit for kids to play. They have beach towels and 3 beach chairs. Few pool noodles and beach mats. No air conditioning so can get a little balmy at times but was not a major issues with constant winds off coast.

Amazing location in paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. The beach views, quiet location, easy access to all parts of the island, and beautifully maintained property made for a wonderful experience. The condo was larger than we expected and easily accommodated our family of 4. We were a little worried about not having air conditioning in August, however it was never an issue. The temperatures are mild on Kauai and the breezes made it very comfortable. It was actually cool at night and we used light blankets. The condo was well stocked for preparing meals. The beach chairs, hiking poles, and beach mats were appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Family Grad 👩‍🎓 👨‍🎓 Trip-Spring Break

Our stay was perfect! The condo was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need from the kitchen utensils, to picnic supplies and snorkeling gear. The space was perfect for our family of 4, both adult children 21 & 23. Location was fantastic as we toured the whole island. We enjoyed hiking the Sleeping Giant, the Smith’s Fern Grotto boat tour, snorkeling in Poipu and Princeville. Our morning walks along the beach were beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the patio and reading a book in the recliners. We flew a kite on the grounds and used the sports fields behind the complex. Beds were comfy, TV was even fantastic since we were there during March Madness… We enjoyed BbQing at the pool and we used the laundry facilities very near the condo. We enjoyed the quiet, serenity of of the whole complex. Perfect getaway and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you🌺🏝️💕

Mold problem

This property has no air conditioning, so to stay cool you have to sleep with the windows open. Which wouldn’t be a problem if it never rained while we were sleeping. But it did and the Capet in the upstairs bedroom got damp and smelled awful of mold and mildew. Not just from the night we stayed there, this was clearly something that had been an ongoing issue. Mold spores are not something you want to be breathing in, so hopefully they rip out that carpet and replace it with tile. The view is stunning, but the excessive moisture posed a major mold and mildew problem.

I'm glad you enjoyed the view. I'm sorry you had an issue with your stay at our condo. We strive to keep our condo in excellent condition for the benefit of our guests and our own enjoyment. We visit at least twice a year and stay nearly a month, using that bedroom ourselves. We love the sound of the ocean and palms while we sleep! We always do a thorough cleaning, including the carpet and furniture. We were there in October and had those things done professionally. At that time, we also painted the window wall and baseboard in that bedroom and never noticed a moldy smell, even while working down on the floor and of course, it did rain during the month we were there. I'm sorry you had an issue as we've never had a complaint before regarding the carpet. After your stay we had two different people come in to investigate the complaint and they did not detect a problem. We had the carpet cleaned again and the housekeeper will keep us informed if there is an issue arising. Mahalo, The Owners
