Enjoy your friend, family or me time in style by this beautiful large lake property! 2-bedroom, 1 bath vacation rental set on the main lake of Holcombe! Whether you love the indoors or outdoors we accomodate! We are located by water straight across from Phat Bob's at Big Swedes Resort.

OUTDOORS: Spend summers right here with a huge private yard, low bank and wide boat dock that's all yours! Lots to do including kayaks, water-mat, water noodles, tire swing, hammock, firepit (wood/kindling provided), cornhole and ladder golf. Don't forget your fishing pole as many guests cast right off our dock! Swimming is superb just dive off the end of our dock or take a few stairs off our dock to knee deep water and float. Enjoy Fall colors by UTV and access the trails right from our property. Winter guests love to access snowmobile lake trails to visit local establishments or hit our great trail system.

DINING: Fully equipped kitchen with ice machine, slow cooker, toaster, towels, dishsoap, coffee bar & snacks, spices and condiments. Seating indoors for 10 at our large dining table/penisula. Outdoor seating for 10 plus at wicker dining set with umbrella, picnic table or adirack chairs. Cook outside with our gas grill or tripod over the firepit including cooking utensils for smores or burgers.

INDOOR LIVING: Sleeps 10, Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Twin low profile bunk beds (perfect for toddlers) and pack-n-play, Living Room: Two large Futons with gas fireplace. Smart Roku streaming TV's in each room, DVD player with movies, board games, puzzles, kids toys, cards, dice, dominoes. Black out curtains to ensure comfort and privacy.

PARKING: Large concrete driveway with room for 2 full size trucks and trailers plus street parking.

PET FRIENDLY: All pets must be approved prior to booking by providing breed and agreeing in writing to abide by "Pet Friendly" terms written here. Certain breeds due to insurance are not allowed. There is a charge per pet per stay and a maximum of 2. All pets need to be less than 50 lbs, up to date on vaccinations, supervised and leashed when outside. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended at property without permission. We have a large property but do live in a residential area and want to be respectful of our neighbors and abide by town ordinances.

GENERAL: Free High Speed WiFi, complimentary toiletries, A/C & central heat, hair dryer and trash bags.

SMOKING: Permitted outdoors only

Amazing girls trips!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy and clean. We really enjoyed the private dock on the lake for floating on our tubes. The owner was super responsive, accommodating and very kind. We would definitely love to stay again.

Perfect Girls Trip

The cabin was perfect. We had a great time! The cabin was clean, cutely decorated and just what we needed! Water frontage was great! No stairs to the dock!!! Wouldn't necessarily recommend for someone with little kids swimming because of the rocky shoreline but it was perfect for older kids and adults.I will definitely be back!!!

Great lake house for fishing

Stayed here for a long ice fishing weekend. The location is great, right on the lake, with a couple bait shops and plenty of bars/restaurants close by. The house itself was comfortable, cozy, and very well kept. It would be a really nice place for a summer family vacation too, with lots of games and movies, and plenty of space outside. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Beautiful location with well thought out accomodations. Host was very responsive. We had cold weather, but was able to enjoy kayak's in the bays and a wonderful fire at night. Very quiet and enjoyable!

It was a great place to stay, right in the water with a dock. It was about 5 minutes from the wedding we were attending, perfect location for us. If we are ever get back up in the area, we would definitely stay here again. We didn’t have any kids with us, but this place is very kid friendly.

Great family weekend!

Our family spent the weekend here and had a wonderful time! I have family in the Holcombe area, so we were all able to enjoy ice fishing and time together inside. The living room and kitchen area is quite spacious, giving us plenty of room for meals and family time. This place is very clean and organized. We would definitely recommend it

Property was absolutely perfect. They have thought of everything. Went with my husband and 2 kids ages 8 and 19. They both had a blast. Boat dock was great for our boat and jet skis. Host was very responsive, accommodating and kind. We for sure will stay again.

Great get-away

I was looking for a place to take my daughter and three friends to celebrate their 16th birthdays. This house met all the girls’ wishes and needs. Although the weather was rainy for most our stay, the girls enjoyed their stay and had a great time. In fact, they were checking for other possible dates to rent this property this summer. The property was clean at check-in. It had all the items needed for a stay away from home. I would definitely rent this property again. It will be the first place we check for availability when we can get a free weekend.

Great stay in Holcombe

The property is exactly as advertised in the listing. This is a great location on the lake with beautiful views from the living room, porch, and yard. We were very comfortable and had more than enough space for a family of six. The dock is great for those bringing a boat. It is steps away from the house, and there is an outlet to plug in an onboard charger (you’ll need probably 30’ of extension cord). There are also blue solar-powered lights on the dock that make it very easy to find if you are coming back after sunset. Kids loved taking the kayaks to the very nearby Turtle Bay where they were out of the way of the boat traffic. Great communication from the owners. Definitely would book again. There is not in-unit laundry but there is a laundromat 5 minutes away if you need it. Ample towels and linens are provided.

Nice view. We rented the site to ride the local atv trails. Plenty of room for trailer and atvs. Had camp fire 2 of the 3 nights. Owner had plenty of fire wood for our use. Lord of chaos so our friends all had seats. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Good tv and internet. Close to restraunt and gas stations. Just one disappointment was that I thought I'd be a house and not a trailer house. Everything was fine but when I was surprised by that. Yes I would stay there again though.

Time at the Lake

My sister and i spent a week at the lake for some relaxation and kayaking. We brought our own kayaks however there were 2 there to use plus a canoe. Bring your own life jackets. We didn't have any luck fishing from the pier but that could have been our lack of fishing experience and knowledge! People out in the boats seemed to be having more luck. We each had our own bedroom which was nice. A full in one room and a bunk with full on the bottom and twin on top and an extra twin in the room. Would be a nice room for a couple with small children. The 2 futons in the living room would be full sized if pulled down. I think that having 10 sleeping would be hard if all adults. The house was clean and had all the linens and cooking items we needed. We brought our own groceries. If needed Cornell is a short drive to get more. Only convenience stores are available locally. We spent most to of the days kayaking in the northern parts of the lake where the Jump River and Main Creek come into the flowage. Plenty of chances to see eagles, herons, fish jumping, deer and turtles. Current wasn't to strong for paddling against and this end of the lake was pretty quiet. Quiet neighborhood with a few other docks and homes on the road. Fire pit was nice and dry firewood and kindling very appreciated. Anneleise called to check in when we arrived and was very responsive to text messages. Neighbors were friendly. We would rent the house again to spend time at the lake.

This was a Great Experience

The owner gave good instructions prior to us arriving, and the book with instructions was very well laid out and accurate. The cabin was very clean with enough towels, etc. for all of us. There were kayaks and a canoe available with great lake access. Unfortunately we were traveling for a family wedding, and did not get to enjoy. We would definitely recommend to anyone, and would book again!
