We travel with our pet and therefore it is easier to stay at a VRBO than a hotel. The place was great, had a nice yard for the dog to play and outdoor furniture to use to enjoy the views of the river and the beautiful fall leaves.
was the perfect fit for us staying up here during the week of the show the pontoon was a wonderful added extra to relax in the evening with plenty of outdoor seating and space to just enjoy the view of the lake and the weather after a long day
This was a nice place for our family, not huge but everyone had a bedroom and there was plenty of seating. Bathroom was a little small but typical for a lake cabin. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle board. The dog also enjoyed the large yard and was very intrigued by the interesting animals across the street.
This is a great little Wisconsin cabin, that’s right on the river. The patio area has been updated since the listing pictures, and that was our favorite place to hang out. There was a lot of comfortable outdoor seating, dining tables, and a great fire pit, all with the million dollar view. There also was a comfortable family space inside the cabin where we played a lot of board games. We enjoyed our very relaxing week!
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean and had everything we needed and Gary was great about communicating and being available when we had questions. The check in/out was super easy and we had no issues with our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
Me and my siblings had a wonderful time staying here. The house was very clean and had all the amenities you need, the property had everything you need from a campfire to kayaks. The view was beautiful. We will certainly be back.
It was relaxing to be able to enjoy the space to the fullest whether it was having breakfast on the patio, to kyaking/paddleboating on the river, or opening the windows for the fresh morning breeze. Very comfortable beds and couch space. The owner was responsive when needed and we would definitely stay here again!
The host was great and easy to communicate with. Lots of living space within the cabin for our family of 5 and lots of toys to play with on the water: kayaks, paddleboard, paddle boat Maui mat, and the pontoon! The roosters next door were a little noisy, but it gave us something to laugh about. Nice new patio with lots of space to dine, or play a game of four square. It was also nice that the host left a leaf blower to easily clean off leaves or sticks that fell overnight. Overall, nice place
It was a very quiet area with a beautiful water front view. The fishing is excellent and the owner is a very nice and informative gentleman. The hospitality is endless and this place has everything for everyone. We will be back.
VRBO misleading, they show average per night and once you book that amount goes up per night plus the fees, ended up much higher than expected, learning curve for me, attention to detail is necessary
As a family we needed a quick getaway. This was exactly what we needed. Enjoyed fishing. Used the kayaks and the paddle board, my boys definitely were not bored. We never turned on the TV. Enjoyed sitting on the patio, peaceful. We made s'mores. Gary was a great host and responded promptly to any questions.
The host met us when we arrived and helped us settle in.
We found that the pictures on the listing didn't show all of the cabin, it is allot bigger than the pictures show. The grandkids had a great time tubing on the lake. There is a paved bike trail close by too.
He had just installed a new patio. It is huge and we loved the smokeless firepit.
It was a very relaxing vacation and we would definitely stay there again.
First of all, the host of the property will be the nicest man you’ve ever met. It was clear that the quality of our weekend-stay was a priority for him and our good time was taken seriously.
Generously, the host let us use his pontoon. We feel silly about this, but we accidentally ran out of gas while on the water! Gary stopped what he was doing in the middle of his day to come give us a tow back to the rental unit.
I feel sorry for the person who left a bad review, but animals coming onto the property was minimal, besides for a family of three turkeys. The turkeys, by the way, showed no aggression. Additionally, the rental unit and its conditions were represented accurately by photos. The house and property were actually even a little bigger than expected. Thanks for the stay, Gary!
Weren't travelling to see family over Thanksgiving, so decided to rent a place in Wisconsin for the week-end and couldn't have been happier. The location is absolutely gorgeous, right on the shores of a lovely little lake. The house is well maintained and well laid out for both adults and kids. I was extra impressed with our host. My son got sick on our last night and got some on the bedding he was using. The host was extremely gracious and told us not to worry about it! The only extremely tiny issue was that the rooster a few doors down got up earlier than I wanted to. Will definitely be making an effort to come back in the summer and make use of the lake.
