For a dozen years we have rented La Casa que Canta as part of the three-house complex called the Villa de Vistas, but now we are creating a separate listing for just this one large house (primarily to provide clarity about pricing).

Our guests can feel the LOVE that went into designing and building and caring for La Casa que Canta.

Here are some of the classic details about the Big House:

3 Bedrooms (all king). 4 full Baths. Sleeps 8. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Water is filtered and safe to drink, but bottled water is also available.

The main floor is at the street level. It includes spacious living and dining rooms, a large and well-appointed kitchen (laundry and pantry), a family room with Smart TV, and a guest bath. All of these rooms are interconnected in one great open space. They have fabulous views of the jungle, beach and ocean. The kitchen and family room are air-conditioned.

Going UP the spiral staircase, you come to the Upper Terrace , the primary viewing site for sunsets, and the Master Bedroom with its luxurious marble bath and private sunning deck.

Going DOWN the spiral staircase from the main floor you come to the bedroom floor with two large bedroom suites. One has a fabulous jungle view and has a fold out couch/ sitting area and dual showers; the other has a large terrace overlooking the ocean.

Continuing DOWN one more stairway and you come to our pool, which was designed to be safe and enjoyable for guests of all ages. There is a platform for infants to sit and splash and delight themselves. There are benches which are perfect for toddlers to walk on and then jump into their parents' waiting arms. There is a raised up area which is ideal for acrobatic jumping, a specialty of adolescents. And, there are lounge chairs and tables with shade umbrellas for everyone.

We have also recently made some upgrades to the property. This includes adding a generator, in case of power outages. We now have 2 different wifi services (fiber and Starlink satellite) and a switch that will toggle between them if 1 goes down. We also have an expansive mesh wifi network ensures the entire property with fast wifi. You are guaranteed to have power and internet connectivity.
