Quaint 2 Bedroom home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Mount Powell Tap House, Victory Lanes Bowling, Grant Kohrs Ranch, Grocery Shopping and Downtown. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg and Butte. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Not to mention the numerous outdoor activities nearby. Cottonwood Creek runs next door and a park across the street with views of Pikes Peak West out the front door.


***New 2018-2019 - Remodeled bar, new ceiling fans, new kitchen appliances, remodeled laundry room with new washer/dryer, new queen mattress guest room and new windows in bedrooms******* New 2020*** Couch/Loveseat, King Mattress, 65" TV, Stove/Oven, New 2021 Roof, New 2024 Gas Heaters, Zone Heaters, Ceiling Fans and Coffee Bar!

Make yourselves feel at home, relax on the front deck and enjoy the view. Wireless internet transmits through the entire house and there are two Smart TV's with Netflix and Amazon Prime. We also have a window air conditioner if it gets too warm inside during the summer. A perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, golfing, fly fishing or hunting. There is a bar and a pool table to relax with as well! If your trip is a working trip, we have a desk, wifi, monitor, keyboard, mouse and a printer. Work remotely for awhile and enjoy Montana!

Guest access

The Guest will have access to the entire home during their stay. The guest will not have access to the garage during their stay. The owner is not onsite. There is a washer and dryer on site, all amenities in the kitchen for storing food and cooking meals.

What a fabulous home! You shouldn't want for anything, as the house is well-stocked with even some surprises to keep a family entertained. Although probably not the responsibility of the hosts, the creekside was overgrown with weeds which took away from the park-like view in this small town. We kept busy a whole day with local attractions.

Wonderful place

Just a few blocks from the historic prison and downtown. It's a beautiful house with everything a person needs. Being our first Vrbo stay, and not knowing what we were doing, the host were very easy to communicate with. We couldn't ask for a better stay. There aren't enough good things to say about our stay.

In fact he went to high school right across the corner from this house! We live out of state but have family in town. We visit our home frequently throughout the year. Tracy works for a large Telecommunications company and Bill runs his own business of Home Repair/Remodeling, Home Inspection and Rental Properties. Why they chose this property

This property has all the comforts of home. The home is 105 years old, but we have taken time to keep the integrity of the house but update accordingly. Take a hot bubble bath in the original clawfoot tub. Sit on the front porch with your coffee while you watch sunsets over Pikes Peak West and listen to Cottonwood Creek run by. This home and Deer Lodge are centrally located in between Helena, Missoula, Phillipsburg and 2 hours from Livingston, MT.
