About this property

Enjoy your holiday in a former school in the French Limousin

This large house is suitable for 8 people (4 bedrooms).
It has a nice bell tower on the roof and also a statue of Mary in the façade. The house is therefore not standard, but has all the comfort you wish to be away from home for a while.

The house is a former Catholic girls' school. At the time there was also a small chapel in it. For decades, girls from this beautiful area have been taught here, accompanied by three nuns who lived on the first floor themselves. When the last sister left the house it came 'on the market'. The toilet houses in the back of the garden immediately recall the atmosphere of that time.

Prachtig huis, zeer ruim opgezet. Wij zijn absoluut niets tekort gekomen en hebben ten volle genoten van ‘de oude school’!

Klein Paradijsje in de Corrèze

Na een weekend lowlands aansluitend met vrienden een weekje in L'ancienne Ecole geboekt om bij te komen. En wat een perfecte plek om te genieten van de rust, natuurm het lekkere eten en het rustieke frankrijk. De inrichting is, met oog voor details, met zorg gedaan. Modern, zonder afbreuk te doen aan de landelijke sfeer maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving is heerlijk rustig, met grotere stadjes die dichtbij genoeg zijn om even naar toe te gaan. Wij waren hier met vrienden, maar ook voor families is het prima geschikt denk ik. Kinderen kunnen vrij rondrennen en er is bijna geen verkeer en er zijn genoeg activieten in de buurt. L'ancienne ecole ligt op het hoogste punt van het dorp met langs alle kanten een mooi uitzicht. aanradertje dus!
