The property was located in an excellent location. The rooms were clean, the kitchen was excellent, the house was spacious and comfortable and the pool was excellent. A great place to stay.

Our host was so helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. The no contact entry and directions to the home were great. The house inside was very nice and spacious with everything we needed. The porch was very pleasant. Unfortunately we didn’t use the pool much as we had a bit of a cool, breezy stay while we were there.
Ferry to Harbor Island for the day.

Really enjoyed our stay- great house and location

Three friends and I stayed here for several nights and really enjoyed it- the large kitchen, deck, pool, and grill were all great, and we got a lot of use out of the porch and outdoor table. The large home made our stay very comfortable. We hope to visit again.

Family vacation

Sweet Merlot was perfect for our family of 6. Clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, it was a great place to relax after long days of exploring this gorgeous island. We will definitely plan to stay at Sweet Merlot when we return.

Birthday

We stayed for a week to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Nice, clean an plenty of space for all of us. Great location to restaurants and pretty central to the island. Had all things you would need for a week but maybe give us some extra rolls of toilet paper next time since we had 5 adults for a week. We would definitely rent again.

Serendipity

In short all I can say is we needed more time , it was all we expected and more with a homey feel and fun, clean and adventurous ambiance . We are definitely gonna be back sooner than later .

Beautiful week in a Beautiful Spot

Wow! Sweet Merlot is a wonderful home away from home. The spacious property is the perfect rest spot each night in between beach hopping each day. We spent lots of time by the pool on the patio with drinks in the evenings, enjoying the view. We traveled with 7 people total and this house gave everyone their own space and had plenty of room for us all to cook and get ready for the beach each day! Cannot wait to return to this great rental.

Great house for our group of 9

We had 8 adults (ages 33 to 66) and 1 child (age 8). The house was perfect. All the rooms are large and the deck/pool had a great mixture of sun and shade. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/baking sheets. It is within walking distance to Rainbow Inn for dinner (make sure to make reservations). We would recommend this house for anyone!

A Very Sweet Merlot

We have been coming to Rainbow Bay since 1986 and Sweet Merlot is the nicest rental we have ever had! Our family of 7 had ample room fir everyone to have their own space. The deck space and pool were an added bonus! The house was situated in a perfect spot in Rainbow Bay for beach access and long walks as well as offering views of the ocean, sunrises and settings. It was difficult to leave!
