Private Caribbean holiday home

Experience the Caribbean island of Bonaire as if you were a local! Proud Paradise Bonaire offers you just that. The private house has a large porch on the side and back. There are two air-conditioned double bedrooms and a neat spacious bathroom. You will find everything you need in the kitchen to prepare your own meals and there is no need to do the dishes because there is a dish washer! That said, there are actually plenty of options for eating out nearby the house.
The living room is very comfortable, spacious and offers free cable TV and high-speed internet. There is also a large dinner table inside, that can function as a home office as well, if needed.
Proud Paradise Bonaire is ideally located, within walking distance of the sea, restaurants, shops and the city center. The house, porch and garden offer excellent relaxation opportunities; there is a hammock, there are sun beds. Time for quality time! Enjoy the local wildlife in the garden, read a book, take a nap, enjoy good times with your family, have a drink, etc!

The use of the washing machine is included in your stay and you may also use 2 of our sit-on-top- kayaks for free!

Please note that the house has a studio in the back side. I sometimes stay there during bookings. This part of the house is secluded from the rest, with own kitchen and bathroom and a separate entrance on the left side.

Kaya Proud Paradise! What a pretty little slice of Bonaire paradise!

The gate to the yard was decorative and very welcoming. This is a two bedroom with a king bed in the main bedroom, one bathroom with a walk-in shower, kitchen, dining room, living room home. The home is very well decorated and has all the comforts. There are air conditioning units in the bedrooms. There are plenty of hangers and more than enough storage. We were welcomed with ground coffee to help start our day. The home is clean and welcoming. There is a welcoming binder along with maps of Bonaire and information for things to see and do, plus books that cover Bonaire and its history. The yard is very well maintained and the different trees and plants throughout the yard are amazing. I loved how they labelled the different plants and one of my favorites was the dragon fruit plant. Coconuts hung from the trees. Some of the other trees were in full bloom, it is just beautiful. There are planters and mobiles hanging all around the covered seating area outside. The owners did a beautiful job creating the mobiles and making the space relaxing. It is so peaceful and welcoming to just sit outside and start the mornings under the covered patio with a lovely breeze blowing through. The kitchen is equipped with the necessities for cooking and eating in. There is a six-burner gas stove with an oven. The dining area has a wall of glass blocks that bring in lots of light but yet provides privacy. There is a charcoal BBQ which we made a lot of use of as we enjoy cooking outdoors. We had use of the washing machine and a clothesline to dry the clothing. In the backyard is an area for showering and rinsing equipment after exploring the many dive/snorkeling sites in Bonaire. I was very grateful for this area as it kept everything outside until it was dry. This home is located in a quiet area but yet within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Within minutes one can walk out to watch the sun setting over Klein Bonaire or walk along the shoreline. The neighbours are friendly and answered questions we had about the area. Our hosts, Stijn and Eefje, were very quick to respond to our questions and they were very helpful They arranged for a quote for a vehicle for our five week stay which was very much appreciated. There is a an excellent property manager and staff that are available when required. They too are very helpful and friendly. We were glad we found this little piece of Bonaire paradise!

A nice home in a quiet neighbourhood. Spent most of our time in the inviting yard. Really close to the waterfront. Thanks for the welcome snacks & drinks, nice touch !

Kaya Proud is located just 3 minutes walking distance from the sea and the main boulevard of Bonaire. Ideal. The street is very quiet and mostly residential.

The house is surrounded by a mature tropical garden and has lots of options to relax, either in the sun or the shade and observe the variety of birds that visit, and iguanas!
