Great house on the Patuxent river with new kitchen, paint, outdoor deck and 2 full bathrooms. Access to kayaks and paddleboards if needed. House also has its own beach (see photos) and has a convenience store for all sundries only 2 miles away. A great year round house with unique views and experiences throughout the entire year. Also a great place to view all of the wildlife that the Patuxent River has to offer.

We have stayed at many places. This was the most peaceful place. Its perfect if you just need a place to enjoy some family and beach time. Everything you would want or need is here. Comfy beds, private beach, wildlife galore, peace and quiet, lots ofbgreat places to eat, incredible sunrise and sunsets, and star gazing at night is amazing because your away from all the city lights!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at this riverfront home. It is tranquility at its finest. The home is perfectly appointed with room for all. The 2 decks allow for peaceful viewing of the river and breathtaking sun rises and sun sets. You couldn’t ask for more. A truly relaxing and enjoyable time was had by all.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing.. the perfect getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was a great location for access to local parks, beaches, and attractions. We most enjoyed the views from the house, both inside and on the upper and lower outdoor patios. House was clean and well represented in the listing.

Epic Beach Getaway

We were looking for a quiet cozy place to stay for a Thanksgiving weekend hosted by a family member across town. Boy, did we find it! Our host was super easy to work with.

We loved this little house on the water . The house is spacious with a stocked kitchen .

The house is so spacious and we loved all the amenities, like the kayak , paddle board and the deck with the water view . Highly recommend this property for a peaceful weekend of fun in the sun or just a short drive to Solomons Island .

Family Time at the Beach

We stayed for 6 days as a family (my wife and I and our 2 adult kids). The home was very well kept, very clean, and had items for us to use down at the waterfront. We had a great time, the neighbors were extremely nice and the area is 100% authentic Eastern Shore living. Thank you for a wonderful start to our Summer!

Great Fall Beach Getaway!

Home was well appointed with lots of little extras like firewood and Nespresso pods! Beautiful location on the water with a private beach and amazing views. Comfy loft area with a balcony and large bathroom. Kayaks available but the weather prevented us from taking advantage. Wood burning fireplace was so nice on the cold and rainy days. House is close to many state parks, restaurants and stores. Went to Calvert Cliffs nearby to look for fossils and sharks teeth while wandering on the beach. Farmer’s market stands nearby. Close to North Beach and Chesapeake Beach. Homeowners very responsive to questions and genuinely want guests to enjoy their visit. Dog friendly! We most appreciated the lack of additional fees. The rental price included our pets. The cleaning fee was fair. We are very turned off by rental properties that charge extraneous, random fees such as “owners fee” and other inflated charges. This owner also provides towels and linens and basic supplies like dish soap and trash bags. We chose to rent this particular property because of the fair price and the beautiful views. The outdoor shower was already winterized but there was a hose available to rinse off sandy shoes, etc. Overall, we had a great stay and were sorry to leave!

Just spectacular! Beautiful home; immaculately clean and spacious. The location is lovely with breathtaking views of the water, amazing grounds with gorgeous plant life, and manicured lawns. Across the street is a magnificent farm that goes on and on. Easy check in, dog friendly and has most things you need like towels and chairs. We absolutely loved it and the bonus was that the neighbours were friendly and fun! Highly recommend! Best VRBO we have ever rented by far!

Private beach and comfortable home! 5 stars!

This was our second year staying at this incredible home, and it was just as perfect as we remembered. The house is beautiful, yet still feels cozy and comfortable. It truly offers the best of both worlds. It had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to relaxing outdoor spaces. The private beach is such a rare find and made our stay feel peaceful and secluded, and the views are absolutely stunning. We made so many wonderful memories here and can’t wait to come back again.

Lovely Views!

Per’s house is lovely! It had everything we needed for a long summer weekend (pots, pans, beach towels, beach toys, beach bags, etc.) The decor was charming and offered the perfect backdrop to our stay. We also loved the proximity to lots of things - Calvert Marine Museum, Jefferson Patterson Park, Flag Ponds, Calvert Cliffs.

This is a great house for a family gathering.There is enough space with 2 sitting areas, and a very nice deck for people to spread out.The water views are spectacular.The host was very responsive to any issues that arose.I would use this house again if I'm in the area.

We enjoyed the comfy atmosphere and location to the water. There is nothing better than a fireplace fire, family, board games and great good to relax. Communication was easy with the owner and he was able to resolve a few issues we had. Such a nice weekend away.

Worth the drive! And what a nice drive!

We attended an event 40 mins away from the property. We did not mind driving back every night because we had the perfect place to recharge for the next day. This would be a good place for up to four couples to stay and be very comfortable. Thanks to the owners for sharing the experience! Steve

Weekend getaway

Despite the wet weather, we had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The indoor fireplace was so cozy and we were able to have a great “beach” day with some fishing! The place was a good proximity to downtown Solomon’s Island and plenty of markets & restaurants!

Coco's vacation

The property is pet-friendly (Coco) that's what caught my eyes. Also, the location of the house, is on a riverfront. I loved the layout of the house. Beautiful. To wakeup in the morning, having coffee on the porch, to appreciate the beauty of the scenic views and watching the birds.

Swim, fish, explore and relax

Our vacation was more for our kids 10 and 12. They were able to practice fishing from the quiet beach and enjoy warm river water. It is a very quiet place and it was great! The house was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. A lot of kitchenware to accommodate entire village. We explored nearby places like Calvert Marine Museum and Annmarie Garden. After busy days we sat on the beach, deck or in the living room. Beds were comfortable and cozy for a good night sleep.
