Modern Mountainside Retreat, Little Cottonwood Canyon

Tracy, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us, but I do feel it is important to respond to this review since there is some backstory and each point should be addressed. 1. The shelf on the inside of the fridge was cracked, this is true. It has since been replaced. Apologies for that inconvenience. 2. The hot tub seats four people, I am sorry you wish it was bigger but our pictures reflect its size accurately. It is important to note that you never called us asking us to re-clean it. We pay a hot tub service company to clean it twice a week and so far we have never had a complaint. 3. If you did find dirty glasses, you never told us. The cleanliness of our property is very important to us so we will make sure to address that. 4. We show every bedroom in the ad. I am not sure what you mean by us only showing nice bedrooms. 5. The day before you checked out, you sent us a message that said this "We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning." We recognize there was a mix-up with the bookings and wish we could have done more about it, but we were very frustrated when we caught you sneaking in more guests than you had paid for. You had told us there would only be 2 guests but we discovered that you had many more and was taking advantage of the lower cost for fewer guests rule. I feel that an explanation is needed to inform our future guests that your view of our place went sour only after we discovered you were breaking our house rules. We feel bad about the way things went and wish that it would have gone smoother but we feel our hands were tied in that particular circumstance.
