This Nordic inspired apartment is just in the heart of the Old Town. If you want to explore Riga Old Town till night, this is the place.
You can enjoy most center area by walking distance. Museums, shops are very nearby as well as nice local restaurants and coffee shops.

The apartment is located on Maza Smilšu street (Small Sand street) which dates back to 1409. The street went from the Great Smilšu Street to the so-called "Gray Tower" in the masonry fortification of the city (around the current corner of Meistaru Street).
Maza Smilšu street got its name from the sand tower (the name apparently originated from the sandy mountains facing the tower) which is mentioned first time in 1330.
