Whispering River Ranch is the most beautiful, breathtaking, and exclusive all-seasons destination for those desiring a serene getaway in Breckenridge. This eight-bedroom luxury lodge can accommodate 24 and is nestled on fifteen pristine acres with approximately a half-mile of river frontage at the fork of the Swan and Blue Rivers and adjacent to the White River National Forest.

Whispering River Ranch is your destination for memories that will last a lifetime.

The Space:
The eight-bedroom luxury lodge can accommodate 22 and is close to an array of year-round outdoor activities. Winter sports include skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing while hiking, fly fishing, golf, mountain biking, and bird-watching are all available during the spring and summer months. The Lodge at Whispering River Ranch is your destination for memories that will last a lifetime.

Guest Access:
You will receive your check-in instructions one week prior to your stay however, you will not receive the updated access codes to the Lodge until you meet with one of our staff on-site or via video check-in at the time of your arrival. A member of our staff will reach out to you before you arrive to coordinate your in-person or video check-in.

Please note, there are 2 additional buildings on the property that are not included in your nightly rental rate. These buildings are service buildings and have their own service access road. The Ranch is big, beautiful, and professionally maintained. It is also very popular and typically booked year-round by new and returning guests. In order to keep the property maintained and beautiful for all ou guests, please note that service staff may come and go throughout your stay, accessing the 2 service buildings on the property. Service staff will park near the service buildings and will not approach the Lodge (the building you have rented) without prior notice.

The Neighborhood:
The lodge is located on 15 private acres 7 minutes from the Town of Breckenridge with access to nearly a half mile of private river frontage.

Getting Around:
Directions and Driving instructions to the Lodge will be given to you after booking. If you are flying into town, we strongly recommend you rent at least one vehicle. If you do not want to rent a vehicle, transportation from the airport to the Lodge can be arranged for an additional charge.

An amazing retreat by the river

We had a fabulous week stay at this beautiful property for a family reunion. Plenty of space for everyone with 8 rooms each with its own bathroom plus a bunk room. We spent most days outside playing outdoor games that we brought or fly fishing. The grounds and gardens were immaculate. The grill and hot tub work well. The calming sound of the river is continuous. Location is very close to Breckenridge so we spend a few days shopping downtown, at Peak 9 and the Brek Escape room. We had numerous late evenings playing pool and games in the upstairs game room or watching a movie on the huge TV. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of everything. The large dining room table and bar seating provided eating space for everyone. We all agreed it was the perfect place and wished we could stay another week!

Wedding at Whispering River Ranch

We had our micro-wedding at Whispering River Ranch and it was absolutely gorgeous! The grounds were breathtaking and provided the perfect space for our special day. All 17 of our wedding attendees were able to stay on the property, which made for a very intimate, connected experience as we joined our families together.

Wonderful house by Blue River

We loved the peaceful location right by the river. The views from the house were beautiful! Our family liked having bedrooms with a bathroom & deck access. We enjoyed the lovely yard, especially the fire pit where you could hear the rushing water of the Blue River. The grandkids liked playing in the game room. It was great having room for our large family to spread out. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone wanting to relax in a wonderful location close to everything.

House was great for multiple families. Beautiful views from house (better if windows had been cleaned). Kids loved game room. Took 48 hours to have someone respond to plumbing issues. When plumber did come, very courteous.

Absolutely wonderful home

This home is amazing. We had 18 people here (10 children and 8 adults), and you would never have known it. We went for NYE and a friend's 40th bday celebration. Everything was perfect. The house almost looked too good to be true from the pictures, I thought it may have been fake ha! It most definitely was not. A favorite: sitting in the living room by the fire looking out the windows (each one looking like a painting) was so relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again.

The R&R Trip gone wrong...

ok, to summarize, completely disappointed.... 15 acres of privacy...not so much... Workers were on the property after, starring at us, I called the property managers whom reassured me that the workers would NOT be back, then they did come back...at 740 on Sunday AM in Diesel trucks making a TON of noise. Then the workers dog tried to attack us, the worker wanted to get hostile..So I called the managers again, both were very busy, said they’d “take care” of it once again... Then, the second to last day as we are trying to relax, 4 ignorant people show up to “look” at the house because they’ve rented it the next weekend...WOW!!! Worst house to rent in VRBO, it’s realky a shame, the place has so much potential. It’s really to bad, most people don’t take their work seriously... If they did I wouldn’t be writing such a terrible review.... We should have been refunded the whole trip, and since everyday way interrupted and it we had to deal with someone on the property that shouldn’t have been...Well, I guess good customer service is overrated and or none existent when renting this place... Sunday, tried to grill, the grill caught fire as I lit it, tried two fire extinguishers, both were defective, have to get sand to stop the fire. Easy to say they neglect cleaning the important stuff...what else was not cleaned properly?!? Makes you wonder. Good luck..

The perfect place

The perfect place- When we arrived our entire family was in awe of the beauty of the landscape, the home, and the view. This was the perfect place for our family reunion. Everyone had their own bed and bathroom. We were all able to sit together for meals between two large tables in a spacious open concept area that made us feel connected. We gathered in the main room for coffee, puzzles, coloring, watching slideshows of old family photos and new family photos. The kitchen had everything we needed including plenty of fridge and freezer space and all of the cooking utensils/supplies we needed. The rooms were fantastic, comfortable, and perfect for both adults and kiddos. The game room was a favorite hangout for kids as well as the patio and fire pit in the evenings. The porch was shaded in the afternoon and a group sat out there for several hours playing games and talking. We used the grill a couple nights too which made for easy and tasty meals. Each evening a group hung out in the hot tub. A few times people strolled down to the bank of the river to sit and rock in the swing out away from the house. We took our family photo just out front with the incredible Gore mountain range in the back ground. The host was quick to communicate and answer all of our questions and concerns before, during, and after our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, updated, and tastefully decorated. The landscaping was gorgeous, and very well kept. The river running through the property was high when we were there and we did have to keep a close eye on our little ones when we were outside. So if you are looking for a place to just let kids run free without any supervision this is not your property. With that said the kids loved being outside and playing in the lawn and on the patio. We had no complaints only lots of compliments from everyone. I would highly recommend staying here for your next large group gathering.

August 2011 Wedding

The Lodge at Two Rivers is an amazing property for any type of event. My husband and I got married on August 6, 2011 at the lodge and will honestly say it was one of the most wonderful places that we have ever stayed. We spent months searching for the perfect wedding venue in Breckenridge and after weeks and weeks of looking we grew very discouraged. Many places were either not large enough, outdated or just did not offer the “mountain” feel that we were looking for…until we came across the lodge. As soon as we rounded the corner to the back of the property and saw the flowing river, the beautiful hillside and the stunning lodge, we knew we found our spot. I was so taken back at the beauty of the property that I would have rented the place even without looking inside. Paul, who was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our entire planning process met us to tour the inside. I will have to say, what I saw was so unexpected. Most places we visited were beautiful on the outside but completely outdated inside. The lodge was the exact opposite, the interior was as magnificent on the inside as the outside. It has been completely renovated with an amazing kitchen, dining area, living room, office, bedrooms and a game room. We were completely blown away. Every bedroom has its own private restroom and balcony and the décor was a perfect combination of “mountain lodge” meets modern living. Fast forward to our wedding day.... It was by far the most amazing day of my life and I owe much of that to the venue that we picked (and the amazing weather we were fortunate to have). I still receive comments from guests on how absolutely beautiful the property was. I am not sure if I could have imagined a more perfect place to have our wedding. Paul was so helpful in helping us plan our outdoor event and even gave wonderful suggestions of companies to use for rehearsal dinner, catering, DJ’ing, rentals, etc. We stayed within our budget and it turned out incredible. The best part was that we were able to have our family and close friends stay in the lodge with us and share in one of the most important events of our life. I would strongly recommend the Lodge at Two Rivers to anyone who wants to have an amazing event, vacation or getaway. We look forward to renting it out for our future events. I know we will not be disappointed.

Lovely Outdoor Area

The home is well located outside of Breckenridge and near Frisco and Dillon. The outdoor area was super with a fire pit where we set up corn hole that was provided. Plenty of bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The house is a bit dated and needs some upgrades ( like carpeting and some appliances) but our family certainly enjoyed themselves!

The location was perfect, the property was beautiful and the experience of the river from the back patio was breathtaking! Once we saw the property, we knew we had to have it!
