Fantastic House + Beautiful Views

The property and views are better than described / photographed. Very charming house with great amenities and fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of space and comfort for all guests -- would love to visit again!

Special Vibe

This place is a special refuge! Like stepping into a 70's Mendocino treehouse dream. Location has an epic view and is very close to the trailhead north. For small kids, a little dicey with all the special/fragile objects, but these details also add to the warmth and charm of the space. Thanks for a lovely stay on a stormy weekend!

Memorable Family Time

We stayed in this home for our Thanksgiving holiday. The house has so much character and my family had a great time. We loved the views of the ocean and rolling hills with plenty of cows and deer to watch. Awesome hiking trail just a few steps away.

Wild life indoors

The home was fun and quirky. However there is evidence of a serious mouse infestation that needs attention. Mouse droppings on beds, pillows, dressers, and floors in all downstairs bedrooms as well as kitchen and dining area. To her credit the host got a cleaning crew in right away and offered a one night refund. There were no other available options nearby so we stayed the 2nd night with all lights on to discourage the critters from coming out of hiding. We made the best of it and got some stunning pictures. Even with the partial refund (would have been nice to see some of the extra fees reduced since they make up nearly 50% of total cost) it was an expensive lesson.

October long weekend

Such a magical place! The house is incredibly charming, the views were incredible, owners were very responsive and communicative. Would definitely stay again. A true gem of a house.
