    Martine très gentille et aux petits soins, elle est clairement à notre disposition total en cas de besoin. Endroit paisible et joyeux de quoi passer un moment de détente total on etais 2 couples on a eu l'opportunité d'être isoler dans ce magnifique gîte et profiter pleinement des équipements. On reviendra surment et cette fois ci en famille avec les enfants. Gros Big UP a Martine c'est la meilleure.

    Batterijen opladen in een oase van rust: aanrader

    Prachtig domein. Rustig. Helemaal aangepast ook aan kleinere kinderen: zwembad, Ping Pong en andere spelen, dieren.... Ik was er met mijn zoon v 10 voor 10 dagen in het kleine huisje. Schitterende vakantie gehad. Lieve en vriendelijke eigenaars. Een oase van rust en ideaal om batterijen op te laden. Enige minpuntje: misschien iets te ver van de landingsstranden - toch de uiterste- we hebben wat afgereden :-)... maar wij vonden dat niet erg.

    La petite maison dans la prairie c'est le petit havre de paix a 2h de paris 😊 Les propriétaires sont adorable ils ont tout refait eux même avec un très bon goût on se sent vraiment chez sois au calme avec le bruit des oiseaux du matin au soir c'est juste le top 😉 Alors n'hésitez surtout pas à réserve aussi bien en couple avec enfant ou entre amis il faut y allé vous ne serez que ravie d'avoir choisi la petit maison dans la prairie 🌳🏠🌳

    Charming Normandy cottage

    Martine and her husband were excellent hosts and the cottage was everything that we were expecting and more. We loved using the pool at night and really appreciated having some local cidre to drink upon arrival. The bathroom was small but manageable. The stairs (ladder-like) to the bedroom were very steep. Even though we had no problems with them I would not recommend the cottage for anyone who has trouble with balance, agility, or strength for the above reason. Everything was clean and comfortable, imcluding the beds. We slept so well in the peace of the natural setting. Just lovely! We would stay here again without even thinking about it. No questions asked. Thank you so much!

    Romantic mini-moon get-away

    After getting married in September, my husband and I had to wait a few weeks (both being teachers) for our half term 'mini moon'... It was certainly worth the wait! The gîte was beautiful - the perfect charming, rustic Normandy hideaway situated in the village of Courcy. The owners, Monsieur and Madame Césbron, were lovely and couldn't have even more helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable for two with all the facilities we needed, including wi-fi for my technology obsessed husband! We didn't use the outdoor pool due to the time of year, but would love to visit again in the summer and possibly hire 'Le Grange' - a stunning newly converted barn, fusing ancient and modern on the same site. Courcy is perfectly situated for day trips to Bayeux, Honfleur, Lisieux etc. and the surrounding countryside in the Pays d'Auge was great for country walks. Highly recommend.

    L'excellence n'est pas loin

    Les quinze jours passés au gîte "la Grange" auront passé bien trop vite...C'est le seul regret que nous puissions formuler tant l'endroit est idéal: assez isolé pour goûter le calme de la campagne normande, et à une portée de voiture pourtant des immenses richesses touristiques de la région...Et la mer est à 40 km...( Cabourg, sur les traces de Marcel Proust...). Les propriétaires, bienveillants et discrets, l'ont décoré avec un goût très sûr pour faire de ce gîte quelque chose qui se rapproche beaucoup d'un havre: à la fois beau, fonctionnel et confortable...ayant assisté à distance à sa naissance ( le logement est tout neuf), le résultat est bluffant ! Nous recommendons chaudement cette adresse...Impossible d'être déçu !

    Wonderful (warm!) pool and Excellent hosts

    We have just returned from a week in this property (le bout du pre) and had a superb time. We took our young daughter who is nearly 15months old all everything we needed (e.g. cot, high chair and bath) was provided. The hosts (Martine and Michel) are wonderful and unlike some gites they do not issue you with a long list of Do's and Dont's on your arrival. Instead, they are on hand if you need them and Martine has some superb recommendations of places to visit, particularly for children. The pool was amazing and unlike some gites we have stayed in elsewhere, the definition of 'Pool Heating' was genuine and wasnt just warmed by the sun. Our baby loved swimming as it was not too cold for her. The local area is just stunning, with village after village of beautiful houses and scenery.

    le bout de Pré...un petit bout de paradis!!!

    Merci à Martine et Michel pour leur sens de l'hospitalité... Dés qu'on arrive, on se sent déjà chez soi... Le gîte est idéalement bien placé, à la campagne dans un coin tranquille et, en même temps, prés des coins sympas à visiter et de la mer!! Les animaux ont fait le bonheur de Manon!! J'y serais bien restée quelques jours de plus!!! Peut-être une prochaine fois!

    le repos au coeur d'un très beau village

    Nous avons sejournés avec nos 2 enfants, 6 ans et 20 mois au gîte le poulailler, des propriétaires chaleureux, très bon repos avec la présence d'animaux inoubliables...le chien Aladin,le cheval Tymaë et l'âne capucine...piscine chauffée d'une agréable douceur et une literie comme dans les grands hôtels!!, superbes balades...à proximité...avec les enfants c'est mieux!.. notamment sur les Monts d'Eraines et sa réserve naturelle, Falaise, St Pierre sur Dives...     nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans un cadre calme et chaleureux;un très bon contact avec les propriétaires qui font le maximum pour le confort des vacanciers tout en respectant leur tranquillité:la piscine chauffée apporte un plus très appréciable pour le confort des vacances; la situation de Courcy permet de visiter la campagne et le bord de mer; le gîte est bien équipé et confortable ;la rénovation très bien faite un séjour à recommander pour tous ceux qui veulent se reposer dans un cadre bucolique ;

    An idyllic French retreat

    We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the cottage (Le Bout du Pre), where ourselves and our two young children enjoyed a wonderful week. Martine and Michel are excellent hosts and add their own personal touches to help the experience be as pleasant as possible. Set in some wonderful French countryside and well placed to explore a lovely part of Normandy, we explored the coast from Cabourg to Honfleur while taking daytrips to Caen, Falaise and Lisieux. We were rewarded with a dip in the fantastic pool on our return to cool off! The nearby (~4km) St Pierre sur Dives is a pretty town and is at its best on Monday morning when the market brings the streets alive. While there are some typical local shops available, there is also a supermarket (Hyper-Casino) and Lidl (!) on hand to fill the fridge. The cottage is comfortable and well furnished - providing a perfect place to rest inbetween our daily excursions. It was the first time that we have rented a cottage (either in the UK or France) and we can wholeheartedly say that we will do it again, having thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Séjour au coeur de la Normandie - Bout du pré

    Un séjour très agréable dans une maisonnette confortable et restaurée avec goût. Son emplacement permet de se rendre sur de multiples lieux de découvertes et d'histoire de la région. Nous remerçions particulièrement Martine et Michel pour leur accueil chaleureux, les bonnes adresses et les prestations fournies. Nous n'oublierons pas les bons moments passés avec les animaux qui ont enchantés petits et grands !

    Le Bout Du Pre

    We had a fantastic week staying in this cottage. It is in a very small village a 5 minute drive from the lovely town of Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives (the monday morning market is great). Surrounded by beautiful countryside is was a great get-away from it all holiday but still close enough to all the sights of Normandy (with Caen, Bayeux, Honfleur and the landing beaches all within 1 1/2 hours drive). The cottage is traditionally French with lots of character and perfect for two. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and the bottle of cider was a lovely welcoming present. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough for us to use the pool but it was heated and very clean. Martine (the owner) was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. She had a great knowledge of the local area and booked us a great restaurant in Saint-Pierre. Overall I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a either a relaxing holiday in the countryside or a base to explore Normandy.
