Ideal location for fishing, boating and kayaking. House was beautiful and very clean. Enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck in the mornings looking at the lake. Many things to do right there. We liked the outdoor amenities like the outdoor grill, kayaks, ect. I very highly recommend.
The property was quaint with great views. The host was welcoming and nice enough to set up pack and play for our son prior to arrival. The house does get hot during late summer afternoons due to westward facing and no window coverings so the fans were a must. My main reason for giving it only 3 stars is cleanliness. Upon entering the home there was a strong smell of possible pet odor. This could of been just cleaning product used and was easily resolved with some plug ins and opening the windows. As I was getting my son situated on floor, I noticed pet hair on his bottle and then realized the rug and floor throughout house was covered in pet hair. I immediately removed main rug and vacuumed entire home. This was a daily need. There were also a couple piles of pet waste noted in yard as if they had just recently stayed there. Other than that, we enjoyed our time on Lake Champlain.
Wonderful house and gorgeous sunsets. We had a great time.
We know the area and the lake being locals living in Shelburne, Vt. The house was exceptionally clean and new with all the amenities. The only thing missing was a clothes washer/dryer.
Nice quiet spot at the end of a dirt road. Gorgeous sunsets every night.
We had a great week! Kriston was always quick to respond and we felt right at home. Great sunsets across the lake facing west, and you can look up the lake to the Canadian side.
The location of this home is perfect! Kirston was quick to respond to all questions and had plenty of games/entertainment for us. The house is very kid friendly. The water was low and the well water did smell very strongly of sulfur which was a bit disappointing but wouldn’t prevent us from going back!
This is a delightful house situated right on Lake Champlain, with its own dock and gorgeous sunsets. Other houses are nearby, but there's enough distance that it still seems private. An extra bonus are the farms nearby, which make the area feel like real country, with beautiful open fields and herds of cows. We had a fantastic time and especially enjoyed the kayaks!
The pictures do not do this place justice the camp is modern and clean the views of the sunsets are awesome. The owner responds quickly to messages and was pleasant. My family and I really look forward to rerenting this camp in the future

A little slice of heaven
This place is as amazing in person as it is in pictures. Located at the end of a dead end road on the lake, you couldn't ask for a better place to unwind and enjoy your time. Everything was as described and the camp was fully stocked with anything you might foresee needing. Kirston was friendly and helpful as well. The one drawback was lack of WiFi, but the remoteness of the camp made up for it. We will definitely be renting again.
