Great communication with the owner and the property was everything we wanted. So many little extras in the lake home that make it just right. Managed to catch a great small mouth bass.
Communication with the host was fantastic. She was very attentive and really helped us out by opening the house for us when another rental fell through. Having everyone close really made our family wedding weekend special. The house was clean and cozy! Everyone really enjoyed it. We will definitely look for this the next time we have a family event.
I’ve stayed in a lot of rental houses and this one by far had everything I could have needed. She paid attention to every detail. I was impressed that everything from the towels to the outside furniture was high quality. We haven’t had such a relaxing vacation in a long time. It was so beautiful and peaceful.
We loved this place! Super cozy, lots of personal touches, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with host was perfect, they were very responsive. We stayed in the winter, can’t wait to come back in the summer to check out the lake.

Cozy House on the Lake is just as the name implies…a home away from home! Lisa and Jerome have thought of everything. If you like to cook like me, you will enjoy the full array of cookware, the outdoor bbq grill and scrumptious complimentary goodies. If you like the outdoors of VT, this is an ideal spot to hang your hat!
Lovely cottage nestled into a waterfront community. Attentive and timely communication from host. Comfortable beds! Host provided local Vermont snacks and binder full of recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Paisley,
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback. I hope you are able to visit again in the near future!! Lisa
The cabin is adorable and just the right size for a busy vacation rental! My husband, myself and our four young children (5& under) fit easily. The location is nice and quiet, the scenery is beautiful and the property is nice and clean. The one and only complaint anyone might have is the water smells pretty strong but everything else was perfect the hosts are great and I would absolutely stay here again!

Thank you Kristina for the positive review and feedback regarding the water smell. We immediately changed the water filter and the smell is gone, this does happen at times with well water. Thanks Lisa
We had good communication with Lisa. She responded quickly to any inquiries. The house was well stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses, paper products, liquids/cleaners, etc. New kitchen appliances. Lisa provided a generous welcome basket and the makings for s’mores. There were many amenities, towels, and pillows. The backyard dining table and fire pit were nice features. Also we had access to Lake Champlain across the street and kayaks. Electric baseboard heaters in each room allowed you to adjust the comfort level specific to each living area. We would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

Howard,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am delighted to hear this positive review and so happy you enjoyed your stay!! It would be a pleasure to have you stay with us in the future! Thank you Lisa
Upon arrival we were excited and felt welcomed. It is such a cozy little cabin. Located a quick few steps to the lake. Check in was a breeze, we already had all the info prior to arriving. The kitchen is beautiful. The farmhouse sink was a favorite. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need or want it’s already there. From coffee to spices, tin foil to beach towels. There were even condiments in The refrigerator. The air fryer is an amazing touch. It really has everything. Every little touch has been thought of. Lisa was wonderful very attentive at communicating. More than accommodating and working with our busy softball weekend. She went above and beyond for us! She even did a little of her own research after I booked to let me know how closely we were to the fields. All around it fit our family of 6 perfectly. We would highly recommend checking this little place out! We definitely will again!
