I grew up on Lake Champlain with a view much like this one, and those summers shaped some of my happiest childhood memories. Days spent on the water, evenings watching the sunset, and the simple joy of lake life are part of who I am. It feels especially meaningful to now share that experience with others.

As a local with deep roots in this community, I love helping guests discover everything that makes this corner of Vermont special, from hidden swimming spots and local restaurants to scenic drives, hiking trails, and the best places to watch the sunset. Hospitality has always come naturally to me, and my goal is for every guest to feel welcomed, comfortable, and to leave with memories they'll want to revisit for years to come.

Why they chose this property

I chose this location because it feels like a hidden corner of Lake Champlain where time moves a little differently. Tucked at the end of a quiet point, the cottage reaches out into the open lake and is surrounded by a small community of seasonal camps that have been cherished by the same families for generations. There's a peaceful, unhurried rhythm here that's becoming harder to find.

The setting is one of my favorite parts of the property. Each evening, the sun melts into the Adirondack Mountains across the water, painting the lake with incredible sunsets. In the morning, you can catch the first light filtering through the trees on the opposite side of the point. Water surrounds you, breezes are almost constant, and whether you're enjoying coffee on the deck, launching a kayak, or ending the day around the fire, it's a place that naturally invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply enjoy being at the lake.

What makes this property unique

What makes this place special isn't just the cottage, it's the experience. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by water, fresh lake breezes, and a pace that encourages you to leave your schedule behind.

Few properties offer a private boat launch, expansive open-lake views, spectacular Adirondack sunsets, and the charm of a quiet point lined with family-owned summer camps that have been loved for generations. Whether you're bringing your boat, fishing at sunrise, paddling along the shoreline, swimming, or simply watching the sky change colors from the deck, the lake becomes part of every day.

The cottage itself blends the comforts of a newer home with the relaxed feeling of a classic Vermont lake camp. It's a place where families reconnect, friends linger over dinner on the deck, children spend more time outdoors than on screens, and every evening ends with another unforgettable sunset.
