The house was amazing. Great views. Ample parking. Private. Stayed with a group of 10. Plenty of space upstairs and down. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Plowed the driveway and removed trash for us. Would absolutely rent again.
We had an amazing stay at this wonderful home boasting a panoramic vista of Lake Champlain. The house had every amenity and plenty of comfortable living space both indoor and out to relax and enjoy family time. Jeff was a gracious and responsive host. Our thanks for a memorable stay!
We loved this property. We were a group of six and used all the bedrooms. We also had a larger group (10) for a family dinner. The house accommodated us just fine. Great kitchen and living spaces. Phenomenal view and location. Truly peaceful, beautiful and a great space. Jeff was a great host and came up to the house when we needed help. Our visit there could not have gone better.
The home and grounds of this amazing home were superb. It was comfortable, roomy and had the most incredible views. We enjoyed spending time as a family and thank our host for an easy check in and stay. This property has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We would love to come back, even make this a yearly family destination. It was the best!!

Immaculate Stay for a Weekend Getaway!
Our weekend at Jeff's home was incredible! The house was clean and had plenty of space for our big group of friends. The view alone was worth the trip up. The location was secluded for a relaxing, quiet weekend yet conveniently accessible to Burlington and St. Albans. Jeff was a great host who made check-in seamless and was easy to reach throughout the weekend. We're already planning our next trip to Jeff's place!

Amazing Stay!!
We booked this house for a bachelorette party winter weekend getaway and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. From Jeff being so accommodating and available for great recommendations in the area to the beautiful spacious house. Jeff greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the house which was so clean and gorgeous. These pics don't even do this house justice.
Great private location on a hillside overlooking the lake. House is well-equipped for a large group. The property manager Jeff met us on arrival and was very helpful getting us settled in. Sunsets were amazing. Nice hot tub.

Just as advertised
Jeff’s place is just as advertised with a nicer view than we could’ve imagined. Jeff is also a great host who met us upon check in and was very responsive to the questions we had throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying here.
The house was perfect for our vacation. The manager Jeff went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and make sure the trip was enjoyable. We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful views
The host was responsive and accomodating. The views (and sunsets) are incredible. The house is large with lots to do - games, books, pool table., hot tub. The sauna wasn't working on our trip. The hot tub was nice at sunset and there were several deer.
A few things would make for a better experience. No soap in the bathrooms. We walked in after a long drive and there was no soap to wash hands. We didn't expect to have to bring that. I used my shampoo. Also, more kitchen supplies would be great - foil, Ziploc bags, a few Tide pods would be good.
When we went it was extremely windy - think like a wind tunnel sitting up on the hill. Couldn't sleep and had to go to the bottom level.
The house is lovely in terms of the view, quality windows, attractive beams, etc., but it is quite musty and they have plug-ins to cover the smell. Think like visiting Grandpa's house for the weekend. My allergies bothered me. Also, the furnishings are old fashioned, but I guess it is a rental.
If you get scared easily, don't go. The former owner's grave is on the property and the house is a tribute to his memory - lots of mementos everywhere. That combined with high winds, lots of noises, woke me up at 2:30 a.m. (granted I have been reading a lot of Stephen King lol).
We visited in the fall and enjoyed all of the color, a trip to Burlington, and the Champlain Islands. It's a very rural area (unpaved road to get there), but we liked that. Overall, 4 stars.
The property and view was beautiful! We had a wonderful time. There are two reasons why I could not give this a full five stars. One is that the property manager showed up unannounced one morning. A heads up would have been nice! The second reason is that everyday we were there at least one random car would drive up the driveway and turn around.
Other then that everything was great!!
We had a really nice stay at this gorgeous property. There's a lot of space, the house was super clean when we arrived and the views are breathtaking no matter where you're standing. There's a small dock about a 10 min walk/2 min drive from the home that guests have access to, along with two kayaks and a paddle board. The property manager was helpful and lives next door. Note that the room with three beds is best for small kids. Highly recommend drinks on the back lawn at sunset and Bob's Meat Market nearby for dinners (the house has a grill). Stowe and Burlington are easily accessible and a lot of fun for day trips.
House was everything we could ask for in a vacation rental - clean, comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, beds very comfortable, excellent view of the lake , hot tub and sauna definitely a plus.
So glad we were able to enjoy such great accommodations!
Looking forward to another visit.

Lovely getaway
We went up for a trip with some friends to unwind and hang out. It was a beautiful house with a fantastic view! Super spacious and fit all 11 of us comfortably. We’ve stayed in multiple places over the years as a group, always upfront about our ages and intentions. We’re in our mid to late 20s. The only reason I couldn’t give it the full 5 stars is because the 2nd day into our 3 night stay, the property manager stopped by completely unannounced. Making it clear we weren’t trusted to maintain the place. A 5 minute heads up would have been nice so we could make sure we were all decent for a stranger to walk through.
We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful home! Jeff was very welcoming and communication was easy. There were 8 of us on this trip. Two were elementary age children. They layout was fantastic and the views of Lake Champlain were stunning. Watching the sunset from the comfortable porch chairs or the hot tub is a must! The house was very clean and had everything you could ever need. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for a large family/group. There was a private doc with a rocky/stone shore only a two minute drive away. The shore had a fire pit and kayaks and the sunsets were incredible. You could swim too! Everything we wanted to visit was an hour or less away (Ben & Jerry’s, Teddy Bear Factory, Stowe, Burlington, Mt. Mansfield, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, biking, hiking, great country shops and many other tourist attractions) Overall this house was the best vacation rental we have ever visited. We highly recommended renting this property and escaping from reality! We created great family memories! Thank you Jeff!
We stayed over 4th of July week and had amazing views of Lake Champlain, including fireworks over the lake. The house is a beautiful post and beam construction with amazing views and easy lake access. We spent the week fishing, kayaking, and swimming at the lake, the perfect low-key vacation. Groceries were about 20 minutes away and we spent some time in Burlington which was about 35 minutes away.
Stunning views of lake Champlain and sunsets over the lake were amazing. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property!!
