The highly regarded architectural firm of Wells/Klages has designed the famous Mauna Kea Villas. This lovely two bedroom suites Villa is situated within walking distance to Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. This paired residence is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, with personal driveway and secured motor courtyard. A tiled entry leads to a carpeted step-down living area. Just beyond the sliding glass doors, a pool awaits. The convenient wet bar is only steps away from sunset cocktails on the spacious lanai. Close attention has given to the use of ceramic tile and Hawaiian Koa wood. The skylighted kitchen features fine cabinetry. Living and dining areas are designed to command views of the Kohala Coast or the blue Pacific ocean. Each bedrooms offers the privacy and convenience of its own individual bath overlooking a private garden area. It features two suites with ocean views, one with a king size bed and the other with two queen beds. Air conditioning and ceiling fans are in all rooms. Laundry room is conveniently located in this unit. The villas reflect the relaxed openess of island style indoor/outdoor living. As a guest of the Mauna Kea Resort, you have free access to the Mauna Kea Beach & The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort facilities which includes two magnificent beaches and swimming pools, two golf courses, nine tennis courts at Mauna Kea, as well as resort charging privileges at many of the hotel's restaurants, lounges and shops. Perfect low key Mauna Kea villa with amazing location

We loved the laid back vibe of this villa. Nicely appointed kitchen, 10 minute walk to the beach. Everything was perfect and Hawaii and this villa is the perfect antidote to a year of covid.
