La Chapelle-Villars vacation

This was an incredible location to enoy the French countryside, great wines, incredible food, the landscaping incredible, and we're up in the mountains in the clouds, and the view was better than the pictures. Wonderful house, swimming pool, bocci court, and nature in abundance. The kichen was very well equipped, firewood provided for fireplace. There were so many attractions within an easy drive. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. We will be returning in the future. Thank you Laurent.

A lovely stay in La Chapelle-Villars

The house was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Laurent was a welcoming and informative host. The location was convenient for exploring the Northern RhĂŽne wine region while also being quiet and peaceful. The wood burning stove put out lots of heat, which was great since we arrived when it was cold and raining, and there was lots of dry firewood available for use. The views from the house are beautiful, and if the weather had been better we would have used the patio and pool. We would have liked some larger or better towels for the bathroom, but this was our only minor quibble. All else was perfect!

La propriété conforme à la description, les 2 salles de bains sont un vrai plus contenu du nombre de chambres.TrÚs spacieux, on a fait un voyage entre amis, tout le monde y a trouvé son compte, ceux qui voulaient se coucher tÎt, ceux qui ont jouaient aux jeux de société, ceux qui discutaient dans le salon.... bref un super séjour.

Nous avons loué cette maison pour une semaine pour 2 familles (4 adultes et 4 enfants). La maison est au calme, avec une trÚs belle vue, bien équipée. la piscine est top entouére de 2 terrasses et douche extérieure terrain de pétanque.Seul point négatif, il faut prendre la voiture pour les commerces (contrepartie du calme ?).A part cela, tout est là pour passer un bon séjour !

Wonderful house with a stunning view and a challenging driveway/street in front of the house

The house is located closely to Lyon but still in the middle of the nature with a stunning view. Three and a half bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, a nice living room, a great terrace, an additional sundeck and even an owl boules track and a large pool leave nothing to be desired. Only thing one needs to know beforehand is that the street directly in front of the house is very steep and that you are only able to enter the driveway in reverse. All in all no problem as long as your car is not too flat or you are arriving with a trailer.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passĂ© un superbe sĂ©jour (3 adultes et 4 enfants/adolescent). La piscine est magnifique (et au sel, ce que nous avons trouvĂ© fort aprĂ©ciable) et nous avons arpentĂ© le terrain de pĂ©tanque en long, en large et en travers tous les jours. La vue est est par ailleurs incroyable, l'endroit paisible et la table de ping-pong un plus des plus agrĂ©able. Un tout petit bĂ©mol quant Ă  la place disponible dans les armoires, mais cela ne nous a pas empĂȘchĂ© de nous installer confortablement. Un grand merci Ă  Nelly qui nous a trĂšs bien accueilli et merci Ă©galement au propriĂ©taire pour sa gentille attention lors de notre arrivĂ©e et pour son aide.

Maison trÚs bien située avec une splendide vue sur la plaine, toute équipée

Maison trĂšs bien situĂ©e avec une splendide vue sur la plaine, toute Ă©quipĂ©e avec jardin agrĂ©mentĂ© d’une table de ping pong et d’une piste de pĂ©tanque. La personne qui suit la qualitĂ© de l’eau de la piscine se coupe en quatre pour nous aider. Elle renseigne les lieux Ă  visiter et les bons restaurants. Si nĂ©cessaire, reste plus longtemps pour rĂ©soudre les petits problĂšmes liĂ©s Ă  l’infrastructure. Par contre, nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs surpris en arrivant que la maison soit en rĂ©alitĂ© la demeure principale du propriĂ©taire. Ce n’est pas indiquĂ© dans le descriptif du logement. Les placards Ă©taient remplis par les affaires personnelles du propriĂ©taire : selon les chambres, trĂšs peu voire pas de place pour nos propres vĂȘtements. Gros bĂ©mol Ă©galement pour les tentes solaires qui n’ont pas Ă©tĂ© vĂ©rifiĂ©es avant notre venue : les points de fixation avaient disparu ou avaient Ă©tĂ© interchangĂ©s (et donc les codes couleurs aussi). Sans l’aide de la personne qui suit la piscine, nous n’y serions pas parvenus. Il n’est pas possible non plus de fermer la piscine tous les jours (comme demandĂ©) car les 5 cloisons qui recouvrent la piscine sont lourdes (manipulables uniquement par deux adultes). Un volet manuel aurait Ă©tĂ© plus appropriĂ©. Globalement, cela reste malgrĂ© tout un bon logement pour les vacances mais surestimĂ© au niveau prix.
