Our host was super kind and friendly very welcoming. The property was lovely and as described set in a picturesque vineyard. We would happily stay again.
This is a lovely quiet location with excellent, helpful hosts. The apartment is lovely and well equipped. The yard is very picturesque and welcoming. There is a great small grocery store in Genissac 5 minutes away. The location is close to St. Emilion about 30 minutes away with several other towns nearby and chateaux for wine tours and tastings. Cecile's recommendations were very helpful especially for La Caff Cuisine restaurant in Branne.
Property was beautiful. Filled with lovely gardens and vineyard views. The loft was nicely decorated and clean. Easy for two couples. Loved the deck! Owner gave privacy and it was quiet. Convenient to be halfway between Bordeaux and St Emilion.
We chose this unit for its convenience to the Saint-Emilion and East Bordeaux Wine areas. We were not disappointed. While it really is amongst the vineyards, it made for interesting trips to the neighboring small villages.
Thoroughly well equipped two bedroom apartment, which was very easy to live in. We loved the location, right amongst the Bordeaux wine region and only 20 minutes drive to Bordeaux. The hosts are absolutely lovely and welcomed us and helped us out in so many ways. We also really loved using the bikes to tour the country lanes. We can recommend the Sunday oysters at Moulon and the poissonerie at Branne. Also loved Chai Leon art deco wine bar ( Michel is a fabulous host and recommends fab wines) and Caffe Cuisine ( great fine dining weekday 20 euro lunches)in Branne.
Sehr schönes liebevoll u großzügig eingerichtetes Appartement in altem Gebäude.
Freundliche unkomplizierte Vermieter,vielen Dank!
merci
A fabulous place, with great facilities. We did not expect this to be a winery...BONUS!
We were warmly greeted by our fabulous friendly hosts and shown our accommodation with a view of St Emillion. In the distance. The accommodation offered everything we needed including fruit trees that we could pick and a complimentary bottle of wine made by Cecile & Claude. There was a great BBQ area, with a friendly cat, chickens and a few Mossies! Overall we loved it there and would have no hesitation going back.
