Fishing trip

The property was wonderful. The public boat ramp was a short distance from the property by both land and water. Fishing was productive, we caught large mouth bass and crappie.

Lovely lake house

Beautiful home, well maintained and equipped. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the dock and the Florida room. It was unseasonably cold the week we were there, but we were very comfortable. A great experience, we hope to return!

Family reunion

Our stay was wonderful and the property was perfect for us. We fished, used a jet ski, had a boat and grilled out each night and morning. I would highly recommend this property.

This family cottage "The Anderson Haus" was the lifelong dream of John and Sonja Anderson. Ever since John enjoyed the lake as a child in the 1930's, he knew he would come back and make it his home. After meeting his bride Sonja in post WWII Germany, the couple made a plan and built a home that would be passed down through the generations. Now their son John and their grandchildren Josh and Sascha invite you to enjoy their private retreat, if only for a little while, in hopes that you will find the peace and joy that has been shared over the past few decades.
