Welcome to this charming farmhouse in Earleton. It’s just a couple of miles to the quaint village of Melrose which boasts the beautiful Lake Santa Fe. With 5 bedrooms including 5 queen beds, 1 king day bed , 1 bunk bed, and 1 queen sofa bed, this terrific property offers plenty of space for guests. Enjoy the 3 bathrooms equipped with a walk in shower in one bathroom and bathtub with shower in the other two bathrooms. The living room space has a king bed day bed for daytime napping, or can be used as a comfortable overnight bed . The large leisure room has two queen bed sleeping stations and a queen sized Lazyboy sofa bed that we will gladly make up for you upon request. There is outdoor seating on the patio complete with a Traeger Grill and fire feature . Our farm is nestled on a pecan grove that has trees that are over 100 years old. This lovely setting will help you feel at home while staying on our picturesque property. Whether you are attending a Gator game, Gator Nationals, Graduations, enjoying Lake Santa Fe, or visiting family, the farmhouse will be a memory making destination!

We loved this spot! The farmhouse was clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The beds were nice and comfortable which is a huge thing for us and there was plenty of room for our group. They had game systems, books, board games, blocks, etc which would be really great for families and it was easy access to Gainesville.

Hidden Gem

The property hits every mark. Well manicured, check. Spacious, check. Amenities, check.I am not a wordy person but I have nothing but positive comments about the property and the host. Stephanie went above and beyond throughout the process. She baked fresh muffins and met us to check in. The frigde was stocked to include eggs and bacon. The towels were all Egyptian cotton and the linens were of top quality.Our family would have preferred keyless entry as we came and went at different times, but we found a work around. My family truly enjoed our stay at this hidden gem.

My husband and I are Melrose residents and live on Lake Santa Fe. This is my husband’s family farm. The property has been in the family since it was homesteaded before the civil war. Besides harvesting pecans, the farm was the setting for Greathouse Butterfly Farm for about 20 years. We hope you love this picturesque property as much as we do.

Melrose is nestled between the serene shores of Lake Santa Fe and the lush landscapes of North Florida, this charming town offers a blend of relaxation and adventure. This is my husband’s family farm. The property has been in the family since it was homesteaded before the civil war. Besides growing pecans, the farm was the setting for Greathouse Butterfly Farm for about 20 years. The property is now the home for cattle, deer, turkey, sandhill cranes and other wildlife.
