Cabin is very nice and spacious. It is in a nice area outside of the city but close enough that you can get to most attractions in just a short drive.

Great accommodations!

Spacious and convenient place to stay for fisherman! Took our kids on their first steelhead trip and they had a blast! Ample parking and place for kids to roam.

Very Nice No Nonsense Place

This is a very nice property with no frills but everything you need for a short stay. The beds were nice and the kitchen has everything needed for your stay. Please note that they only provide a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels which for us consisted of a quarter of a roll of one ply toilet paper and almost a half a roll of paper towels. There are bath towels but bring beach towels if you need them for the lake. The icing on the cake was the very nice golf course less than a mile up the street. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect for first time traveling with our dogs

We wanted to spend the weekend near Erie to visit a friend. This was our first time traveling with our dogs. This was the perfect place to stay. Very clean, quiet and lots of area to walk our dogs. Everything was exactly as described and Jeff answered all our questions prior to our stay. Only 20 minutes from Erie/Presque Isle so visiting our friend and Presque Isle was easy.

Best VRBO for groups

We rented the beach house and trappers cabin for a fly fishing trip. Great to have both houses on the same property with a wonderful fire pit. Houses are both updated and clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and look forward to renting them again next year.

PERFECT

This property was exactly what we wanted! A nice place to spend the long weekend with our family and dogs. We went sun-tue so we had the whole property to ourselves which was nice. As long as you'd have good people staying in the other house on the property, there would be no problems! We loved the location and it was very easy to get to Bayside Erie and Presque Isle. We enjoyed checking out some local places too like Peggy Grey's candy.

Comfortable home with an excellent host!

We relocated to the area and required a temporary place for a month. Despite being designed for week long stays, we were very comfortable as the home was clean and equipped with much of what we needed. Located near Downtown Girard and only a short drive to Erie, it is close to stores, restaurants, and plenty of outdoor activities. Jeff was an excellent host, being very responsive and providing extras (firewood, bottled water, etc.) to improve our stay!

Absolutely perfect

I can't say enough about this property! This place was like a little slice of paradise. The location was great. Being outside of town, it was quiet and serene, but only a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Jeff and Lori are amazing owners and we look forward to renting this property again. We're already planning our next trip and will most likely rent the other cabin as well so that we can bring the whole family!

Grandson birthday trip

The street name was left out of the address so when put it into map quest it took us an hour out of the way. We didn't get a response from host until hours later. We were able to use coordinates from the map on VRBO. Otherwise stay was great. Would stay again now we know where it located.

Nice stay.

Hard to find. GPS doesn’t take you to the property. We contacted the owners very late and they kindly directed us to where we needed to be. Very thankful for that. The only complaint is that there was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper when we checked in Thursday night through Sunday morning. Nice that it was back off the road. Quaint. Nice towels, linens were clean.

Quick few days getaway

The property was as described and pictured. Clean and cozy. Nice outdoor area for fire and pavilion. It was convenient to be able to do some laundry while we were there. You just need your own detergent. The kids enjoyed our stay as well.

We used the place place to visit family. The location was only 5 minutes from where my aunt lived. Great place for those that are looking for a weekend fishing trip on lake Erie.

Weekend getaway in Erie

We had a wonderful time. Rented both cabins which worked out well for our family getaway. Close to water park, zoo and fishing. The owner was super nice. Would highly recommend!
