We really enjoyed the cabin. The bed was very comfortable. I worried about the bed based on the overall price. The recliners were a very nice touch. We came to the area during the busiest week of the year. The drive to Gatlinburg was over an hour. We avoided some of the big tourist attractions because of the crowds. We would definitely stay here again, just not in October. We even saw deer out the kitchen window. Andrew was fast when responding to all our questions. We did not cook, so I can't speak to how well the kitchen was stocked. I did miss my Keurig from home. LOL. We did enjoy the fire pit.
The overall experience, was fantastic. The cottage is rustic perfectly furnished, the host is extremely pleasant. Easy to get in touch with. The listing doesn't do the great experience we had.
Once we got checked in we had a nice stay. House could use some work on it but overall we enjoyed our stay
We loved sitting out on the front screened in porch
The outside neighborhood felt sketchy, but once we got inside the cabin, it…was…Beautiful. We felt safe and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
We were in the area for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay! The location is a bit off the beaten path but well worth it to have your own space and a homey environment. Property was in great condition with some recent renovations. We would definitely stay here again! Great deal!!
My family and I made our third stay in this beautiful little cottage while on our vacation to the Smokies. We had a wonderful time. It was our last night and our daughter got really ill and had to go to the hospital. Our host(Andrew) was very understanding of the situation and offered comforting words and prayers. My family and I will definitely stay again in the future.

Quiet property in the foothills. Communication was easy and prompt. 12/10 for the screened in porch. We spent majority of our time porch sitting in rockers.

Christmas
Stayed 6 nights and Ran out of toilet paper and paper towles the second day there and had to go buy some. It’s way back down a windy road and i got sick eveyday getting to it
I searched for 2 months for a small, secluded cabin and this one was exactly what I was looking for. Just 4 or 5 miles off I-40, close to Sevierville, but still off the beaten path. It was clean, rustic, quiet, and restful. Sit out on the screened front porch and watch baby deer and squirrels play directly in front of you. The host, Andrew, responded to all questions quickly and gave detailed information about the area. You rock, Andrew. This is now "our" cabin when we go back to the mountains.

The cabin was cute, clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the renter was quite easy. We will definitely look into this cabin again
Great communication and always very helpful with anything we asked about. Nice little house in a nice rural area but also not to far from everything. We would stay there again!
Great location if you want a nice quiet spot while still being reasonably close to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The house was well appointed and well kept. We’ll definitely look it up again next year!
Great cottage and definitely bigger than we expected! Beds are not what we’re use to a little more firm then I like ! Literally the only thing that wasn’t perfect ! Love this place
This place was awesome. You're in the woods, but still so close to town. It's very quiet, a quaint little cabin. The screened in front porch is really nice when a thunderstorm rolls through, as well. This place is perfect for just a couple, but it has room for more than that. Also, Mr. Andrew was a terrific host, extremely helpful. We'll definitely be returning here!!
Thank you, Andrew, for another wonderful stay. We took you up on your suggestion to picnic at Seven Islands State Birding Park, and we enjoyed the walking trails to the French Broad River. Dollywood is only 45 minutes away. The best part, however, is sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee as it gently rains. I loved the springtime purple irises and honeysuckle!
I loved staying here because it was away from the main traffic, quieter, close to the Smokie Mountain flea market. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife across the road. We watched deer, a ground hog, birds, squirrels and beautiful flowers.
I had a 10 day stay at the cottage. The cottage is cozy with a very home like feeling. The screened in front porch was great for sitting with morning coffee or anytime. Andrew the host was easily contacted by email and was quick to respond to questions. I will definitely come back on future trips.
This was the perfect place for our family to stay for a couple of nights. It was quiet & cozy. The owner was very kind and easy to get in touch with. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the space and the easy check in/out procedures.
Liked the location, the solitude, was very quite.
The was pretty clean.
The dishes however had food residue in them. I do realize that is on the prior guests. Would definitely stay here again.
House was very clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the screened in porch - great place to enjoy your coffee in the morning or just hang out with a good book! Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Frederickson
We purchased the cottage in 2018 because it was in a peaceful setting but close enough to all the attractions of the Smoky Mountains. We wanted to provide an affordable getaway for families so they can come and experience the Smoky Mountain area and get more of a cabin experience rather than a hotel or motel.
Why they chose this property
The cottage sits on an old country road. It's very peaceful and serene yet it's just a few miles to the parkway. The screened in front porch allows you to relax and just take in the surrounding area.
What makes this property unique
Affordable and relaxing, off the beaten path and close to the parkway.
