This is NOT a party house ~ We only welcome families and small groups of friends. We respect our neighbors and they will call if anything is out of line and you will be evicted with no refund. It’s simple~ if you want to party just rent a different home, this wouldn’t be a good fit for your group.

ANIMALS: Tahoe is home to many types of mountain wildlife. You may experience bears, raccoons, ants, spiders and other animals. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move indoors. You may experience these animals in or near your home.
This home allows 2 vehicles in driveway and 2 vehicles inside garage for a total of 4 vehicles max. Total of 8 occupants including children.
THE LOCATION: Commercial Airlines fly into Reno Airport: 1 hour drive. Private Airport: Lake Tahoe Airport (5 minute drive). You’re centrally located between three major ski resorts: Heavenly (10 minutes), Sierra at Tahoe (15 minutes), and Kirkwood ( 45 minutes). You can also go sledding or rent snowmobiles (1 mile). In summer, practice your swing at nearby Lake Tahoe Golf Course (3 minutes), or head over to South Lake Tahoe to enjoy the beach and marina (15 minutes). You’ll find an array of nearby dining options, including Divided Sky, Get Away Cafe, and Downtown Cafe (5 minute drive). Other favorite dining options Sprouts Café, Naked Fish, Cafe Fiore, and Base Camp Pizza (10- 15 minute drive) Casinos- Hard Rock, Harrahs, and Lucky Beaver (15 minute drive)
THE FINE PRINT: Strict ordinances govern Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for any parties or weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 8 people and 4 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day (meaning that even an afternoon BBQ with too many people would be subject to citation/fine). Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise at any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 – in addition to any fines assessed against the homeowner by local authorities. Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy may result in eviction. If a hot tub is available, there can be no use after 9 PM. This home is located in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/noisy groups. No smoking is permitted. No pets of any kind are allowed unless specifically noted in listing.

Please remember that this is a residential community, and we respect our neighbors as this is our home not just a rental.
In order to offer our home we were required to obtain a permit from El Dorado County at great effort and expenses. Any complaints of disturbances may result in revocation of the permit, and discontinuation of short term rentals.
Therefore, these rules will be strictly enforced.
As a courtesy to our neighbors, we have provided them the 24-hour phone number of our professional property manager. They have been asked to call-in any activity of concern, so that any effect can be minimized immediately.
The Owner reserves the right to evict renters for any material violations of these rules and policies.
The El Dorado County Code requires that the following minimum restrictions must be included in our House Rules.
1. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM, during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond Casa Del Lago's property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
2. Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of Casa Del Lago is prohibited.
3. Two vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street, 2 vehicles may also park inside the garage. Maximum of 4 cars total. No cars are permitted to park on the street, this is enforced by the county.
4. No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.
Please be aware of the following rules and policies relating specifically to Casa Del Lago.
5. No smoking in the house.
6. We will provide hotel type maid service once for each 10 nights stay free of charge for stays 30 days. Then a one time fee of $ 225 cleaning fee will be charged after checkout.
7. Be careful not to leave any exterior doors open as Bears and other mountain creatures may enter.
8. Guests returning from the beach must use the outside shower at the beach to rinse off all the sand from their bodies before returning to the home. Suggest you rinse before you get into your car. We have a spray hose on left side of the house if needed.
9. Guests must report all damages to property manager immediately. No matter what time - please send email: globalccm@me.com, In addition maintenance man number is provided at check in.
10. The cost of items missing or damaged during your stay will be deducted from your security deposit and if excessive will be deducted from credit card on file.
11. Bear Box Garbage Bin is located in front of house, as you walk out front door look to the left. Please place ALL items inside the bear can. Also empty indoor garbage as needed between times of maid service. PICK UP is MONDAYS trash and refuse shall not be left or stored on the exterior of the property except from 9:00 p.m. of the day prior to trash pick-up to 6:00 p.m. on the day designated for trash pick-up;
12. House phones are for local calls only. Otherwise we request that renters use their cell phones. Any charges accrued by guests, such as, long distance calls, Pay Per View movies and channels, etc. will be deducted from the deposit once all household bills have been received.
13. REKEY Fee will be discussed prior to check in. You may have keyless entry as well.
14. Take precautions for protection of your valuables. We are not responsible for any losses.
15. Please lock all doors and windows when you leave the home. Bears can and will open doors if there’s food inside
16. The Lake can be very dangerous. Please use caution when swimming and be aware that you are at high altitude.
17. The patio around hot tub can be very slippery when wet. Any running in this area is dangerous. Please exercise extreme care. No person under the age of 18 should be in the hot tub. Hot tub Hours are from 9am- 9pm~ Strictly enforced to respect neighbors.
18. Sunscreen and other body oils easily stain material. Please be careful to avoid damaging the furniture.
19. Make sure all lights and ceiling fans are turned off when you depart.
NEW COVID 19 fees and changes:
20. Do not leave Dirty dishes/ Pots pans etc in the sink or on counter tops, please put everything in dishwasher. Otherwise you will be charged an extra $50 fee for dishes left behind.
21. Dog Poop - You must pick up your own dogs poop before you check out. Otherwise you will be charged $150 fee. There are poop bags under the sink in downstairs bathroom.
22. All linens are to be stripped from beds and placed on the floor in the laundry area along with towels, robes, etc. (this is important and will result in a $125 fee if skipped over). Do not fold anything dirty back up - this is not helpful. We want to make sure to launder all items after each guest.
