This is our family escape. Close to everything, but nestled in the trees in a quiet neighborhood.
This peaceful chalet is surrounded by relaxing forest property. 10 min from Heavenly, beaches and casinos. 15 min from Sierra at Tahoe. Walk to trails, cross country skiing, snowmobile and mountain biking access right at the end of the low traffic street. Located on a half acre lot and surrounded by 3 conservation lots for privacy. A large fenced side yard and a huge wooded rear yard on a gentle slope that is great for playing in the snow or just enjoying the outdoors. This chalet style home has a large deck around it to sit and enjoy a coffee. Newly remodeled and painted inside and out with all new furniture and mattresses. Professionally cleaned after every stay to keep spotless.
The downstairs master has a very comfy king size bed and its own bathroom. Upstairs is another bathroom and two more bedrooms. The first has a queen size bed and set up with an office space.
The last bedroom has sets of bunk beds that great for kids, but has a full for the bottom bunk that fits adults too. The living room couch pulls out to a queen bed, and an additional queen size inflatable mattress and electric air pump for plenty of plenty of sleeping options.
A full kitchen is available to cook delicious gourmet meals or make hot cocoa, coffee, or tea. Coffee maker, French press, and bean grinder for your perfect morning coffee.
The dining table is a handmade work of art. Made from two book matched slabs of silver maple which were cut from a storm damaged tree. The bench fashioned from a single plank of black walnut along with a matching coffee table.
High speed wireless internet, cable TV, Netflix, and even Amazon Alexa is available for your use. The home is nice and cozy with central heat, a gas fireplace and additional radiant heaters in two bedrooms if you like it extra toasty. I’m sure you will love to stay here as much as we do!

Great Little House

The house appears a bit small at first but it’s layout creates a very open space that doesn’t feel small. The side yard is great and there is trail access at the end of road (about a 5 minute walk).

Zach's house was awesome! Nice open floor plan upstairs. All of the comforts of home-streaming on TVs, Alexa for music, plenty of kitchen accessories, gas grill on the porch, comfortable beds, spacious fenced-in yard & access to trails & open spaces. Zach accommodated an early check-in & was very communicative. We would definitely rent from Zach again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable sanctuary in South Lake Tahoe.

Spring break getaway

Perfect location to go on hikes snowboarding and visit heavenly village. The property has a Perfect area for snowplay. My kids had a blast just playing in the backyard sledding and snowball fighting. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything to cook home meals make cakes and bbq outside.

a beautiful and very spacious place equipped for our needs, my children were comfortable in their beds, there are 2 bathrooms very suitable for our group, the area very quiet and relaxing, many pine trees we really enjoyed this house I recommend it you will have a wonderful adventure. Comfy Cabin in South Lake Tahoe

Cabin is in wonderful neighborhood and is extra special as it is a double lot size. Plenty of room for a picnic. Lots of tall pine trees. Number of hiking trails at end of the street in National Forest. The cabin itself is very nicely furnished and maintained. It’s a 5 out of 5 experience!

Great Stay At Zach's Place

We had really great time at Zach's beautiful house. It is very spacious and fully equipped with everything your family needs for a long weekend stay. Cozy Tahoe Getaway for Two and a Pup

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary in Tahoe, and we wanted to bring our dog with us to experience the snow. This was our first VRBO stay, and we were extremely happy with it! The host was very responsive and provided so much information about the home before our trip. The house was clean and cozy, and the location was perfect, with easy access to everything…restaurants, grocery stores, casinos, skiing, the gorgeous lake. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Since our pup enjoyed the snow and traveling with us so much, we’d definitely stay at this home again in the future, it was a very positive experience!

Amazing Experience

I booked the house for a family vacation for myself, my wife, my children, and my grandchildren. We wanted a family snow vacation for us and our dogs. The experience far exceeded expectations. There was a sledding trail right outside our door that previous occupants had carved into the hillside that we used throughout the trip. Everyone spent hours playing on that trail. It was so awesome that we didn't even use the expensive, crowded hills that are in the area. The house even came with numerous sliding equipment.

Great place for our short stay in South Lake Tahoe, huge outdoor area and just a short drive from hikes, food and a playground.Some thoughtful touches we appreciated:- having a pack & play, high chair, airbed, and even a gate that blocked the stairs (kid friendly)- temp stayed warm despite cold nights- lots of kitchen tools & supplies, utensils, etc for use- enough parking for our 3 cars, plus the charging stationSome considerations:- to get ventilation for any kind of cooking or baking, we had to open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan- there's no shade or curtain for the sliding living room doors, which face other homes so you may feel a bit exposed - conditioner dispenser in upstairs bathroom was stuck - bunk bed - top bunk was super close to bottom so one could bump their head easily if they're not careful (including my 4yo)- bathrooms & bedroom doors upstairs were a bit creaky, for those who may be afraid of waking lightsleepers (like our kids) Overall we would consider coming back. Thanks for the hospitality!

Awesome stay

The house is great. It does get a little warm upstairs due to the fireplace pilot but if you toss one of the provided fans in the door you get great cross breeze. It seems like the fence in front had fallen at some point but our dog was to scared to jump off the raised area which surrounds the yard so we were fine. The kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath were situated upstairs with an amazing view of forest and blue sky's. The balcony is also located on the top level and was a great way to start and end your day. The downstairs is a large bedroom and full bathroom, it was cool and quiet except for when the kids decided to get up early LOL. We spoke with Cherie who I think was the property manager due to an issue with the door lock battery but not a big deal as she was able to give us the garage door code so we just entered and exited through there. Which with the kids and the dog was super easy. She also told us about a trail at the end of the court. DO NOT SKIP THE TRAIL!!!!!!!! it was so worth it we just kept left and met a guy about 1/2 mile in that said go right at the green gate then stay left across the path and you will find a creek. It was like a private oasis nobody around no trash super peaceful and the kids and pup loved it. The house sits next to an open lot for firewood cutting and a house on the other side the back had ample amount of forest and wilderness for the kids. We enjoyed so much about this property and stay and would rent again next time.

My family and I loved this cabin! It was close to restaurants and casinos. The beds were so comfy - even the bunk beds - and the sheets were super soft. We had everything we needed for a great long weekend.

Relaxing in Tahoe!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! I was there with four young adults (18-22) and everyone had enough space to relax in the large living room and the outdoor deck. Our two dogs also liked the large side yard. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees, which is exactly what we were looking for. There are TONS of trails nearby for walking and mountain biking; we rarely ran into others on the trails! Would definitely stay here again!!
