Perfect Location for a Visit
We came into town for the Balloon Fiesta. This rental was very conveniently located within an easy walk to Old Town and several museums. As stated by the owner in response to one of the other reviews, this is an older property. If you are looking for fancy, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want a cute, functional, and clean place to stay that is close to many activities, this fits the bill. The history of the property was interesting. The property was originally owned by the owner's grandparents, who then built on the unit we rented. On the same lot of land, there is a larger home that was purchased by the owner's aunt and is now also available as a VRBO rental unit.

Excellent location and amazing fenced in patio
My boyfriend and I loved our stay. The location is great and the casita was private with a great fenced in patio with grill, table, and hot tub. We will definitely be back.

Air conditioner shut down around midnight
Had a very uncomfortable night. Didn't call as it was around 1am when the heat woke me up. There isn't a suitable chair for reading. No ice trays. The bed is too soft and mushy. It was very quiet.

Fun in Old Town Albuquerque
The property was quaint and charming and well kept. We enjoyed the patio, especially the fire pit and gas grill. We visited our daughter who is at student at UNM and it was a great place to make dinner and visit with her. We loved the location and the access to Old Town Albuquerque.

Hello My name is Earl Baca, I am Single Dad raising two young boys. I work hard and play even harder. I was born and raised in Old Town and I am a New Mexico Native. I am a business owner and contractor. I love the outdoors, my martial arts and my family.

Why they chose this property

This Historic property belonged to my grandparents, and it was my dad dream to one day open up a Bed and Breakfast. Well I decided to make my dad's dream come true. As he passed the family house on over to me I decided to invest a little money and renovate both the main house(grandmas) and the casita (great grandmas). Little my little with my own two hands we made the Adobe Style homes into modern/contemporary homes, but they still have the historic feel and value.

What makes this property unique

Unique Benefits, the Casita is located literally minutes away from anything you need or want to do in Albuquerque. Centrally located and many places you can visit with in walking distance. Beautiful quiet neighborhood and lots of families that I grew up with still live in the area, so we all look out for each other. Everyone who has stayed in the Casita loves it!!
