Welcome to Hillside Cabin, your perfect spot for a rustic Texas Hill Country getaway. This 150+ year old authentic log cabin was brought down from Missouri and is situated on 52 acres in Driftwood. Conveniently located between Wimberley and Dripping Springs, you’ll have many options for shopping, dining, and enjoying the famous Hill Country within minutes. Completely private from the rest of the property, with a hot tub, designer decorated interior, and extremely comfortable bed, Hillside Cabin is a retreat awaiting you. In this cabin you’ll find a king size bed with pillow top mattress located in a cozy loft, a twin daybed in the living room, a full bathroom with walk in shower and a fully stocked kitchen. Private hot tub just a few steps from the front door. The ranch is home to our 3 goats and a handful of pups that love to greet our guests, all of which you are welcome to visit with during your stay.

This cabin and our stay was phenomenal! The place was so clean and decorated nicely. The family dogs visited us several times and that made it feel just like home! I highly recommend staying here if you just want a quiet getaway, but it is close to town as well and our drive back and forth to Austin was easy! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great cabin in a nice, secluded setting, perfect size for the two of us. It's comfortably furnished and has fun wall decorations throughout. The bedroom/loft is a pleasant space with a fine comfortable bed. It was a bit warm up there, understandably, but the provided floor fan helped a lot, and it wasn't a serious problem. We appreciated the extension outlets on each side of the bed, a thoughtful touch. And it was nice to soak outside under the stars (though it would have been even better on a cool night!). All in all, we were quite satisfied - it was a great spot for a brief birthday getaway.

Beautiful serene property tucked away among the privacy of trees. Very peaceful, clean and perfect for a weekend get away but yet close to Wimberly and dripping springs for those who like to venture out. Host responded quickly to any questions. We would recommend for couples wanting to spend quality time together, having morning coffee on the front porch Thank you for letting us share a part of your property.

The cabin was a dream! Everything was great and the host provided all the needs for our stay. This 1850's cabin was immaculent in every way. We loved it so much we hated to leave. One day soon we hope to visit again.

This was our second stay and we loved it at least as much as the first time. The area is surrounded by trees, and the cabin and hot tub are secluded and private. The open-air hot tub is great for morning coffee, and the cabin is clean and comfortable. The host is also friendly and responsive. I would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay at this 100 year old cabin. From the moment we arrived it felt welcoming and full of character that was cozy, spotless, and full of charm. The location was perfect for our needs— peaceful yet close to everything. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evenings. Highly recommend for a fun, relaxing getaway! Perfect Getaway Cabin

Amazing log cabin in a quiet corner of the hill country provided a great getaway-weekend for my wife & I. The host was welcoming and easy to communicate with, I highly recommend!
