Very Pleasant Long Weekend Stay

Great location, nice big apartment with balcony , secure underground parking. Good quick response when there was a problem with the boiler Inclusive cleaning fee of Eur 120 seemed rather excessive for a 4 night stay. Boiler stopped working at one point but then started again ( just before a technician arrived to look at it !)

El apartamento es amplio, en un edificio bastante moderno. Terraza maravillosa, con vistas al mar, y al amanecer. Ubicación inmejorable, a 2-3 min andando hasta la playa, y 5-7 min hasta el Puerto de la Duquesa. Comodidad añadida de disponer de parking y piscina dentro del edificio. Durante la estancia tuvimos problemas con el calentador de agua, y a causa de los mismos sufrimos cortes de luz y de agua caliente. Finalmente se solucionaron estos problemas, pero fueron un inconveniente.

El apartamento es muy bueno. El servicio de la agencia excelente. Buena relación calidad precio Hablar con el propietario para aumentar el menaje, muy pocos vasos , platos y utensilios en general. Hay que poner el lavavajillas dos veces al día al contar con muy pocas unidades de todo para 4 personas, saldría más económico y sostenible si hubiera mas vajilla

Great town, great property, but...

This is the second year running we have stayed at this apartment and we love the town of Duquesa. The apartment is great, really modern, with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, comfortable beds, TV with English channels, Wi-Fi, twin bathrooms and a big balcony with a great sea view. It's a secure complex also with key/gated access and it feels very secure. And it's right on the beach and has a big deep, well maintained pool. The apartment is let down somewhat by the level of cleanliness. It's just not properly cleaned. The cleaning seems to be limited to the toilets/sinks, mirrors, clean bedding and towels. Nothing else is cleaned. Of particular note was the balcony. The glass around the balcony was filthy, and the chrome rail was rusty. The floors were dirty and we couldn't sweep it as there was no sweeping brush. The levels of dust on some surfaces were unacceptable - "inch thick". The floors were not clean. Moving the sofa revealed years of accumulated dirt and there was a mat/rug under the coffee table that has never been vacuumed in its life. The whole apartment needs a huge DEEP CLEAN. Upon arriving we noticed someone had removed their contact lenses and simply left them on the bed side table. They were dried/welded to the surface and we had to scrub them off. The cleaners could not have missed that. Also disappointing was that while there was a safe embedded in the floor we couldn't use it as no one knew the code. Our friends, staying at another apartment in the same complex, had the exact same problem. As I said, we do like staying here and would stay again, but next time I will insist on a full proper clean of the room. The town is lovely and this is probably the most modern place to stay in Duquesa. Other than the cleaning issues, it IS a great place to stay and I would recommend it. I also found the agent Zapinvest helpful and friendly.
