About this property

Chalet les Epilobes with its unusual pointed hat and breathtaking view!

Mountain chalet on more than 6000 m2 of private land, 850 m above sea level.
On the edge of the forest with a breathtaking view of the valley.
All-wood design chalet including:
- a big room living room stay with kitchen opened direct access on balcony terrace,
- kitchen with all its equipment: oven, microwave, fridge 3 induction hob, hood, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, raclette and fondue.
-Washing machine
- A living room, A sofa bed, a dining table, TV, hi-fi.
-A wood stove. 40 dm3 with lighter provided in winter, possibility of purchase of additional wood at the rate of 6. 00 € 40 dm3.
-A bathroom with shower. sink, shower and toilet, iron and ironing board.
-On the floor, two rooms: one with 2 beds of 140x 90
 The other bedroom with 1 bed of 200 x160. (New bedding)
A new room with bunk beds.
-In the basement local ski or bike.
The center of the village is 5 minutes away, with all the necessary shops and services: butcher, bakery, newsagent, cafe, hairdresser, restaurants, pharmacy, doctor.
Located 4 km from the town GERARDMER.
Many activities are offered to you:

In winter downhill skiing. Near the resort the polite (800m), ideal for beginners, With its toboggan area. In Gérardmer (4 km) and Bresse (10 km), cross country skiing, snowshoeing etc ...
In summer, countless hiking, mountain biking, swimming at Lake Longemer 1.5 km, fishing, excursion / walks in Alsace nearby.
You will also find several medium-sized surfaces, swimming pool, skating rink, bowling, cinema, casino in Gérardmer.
BB equipment available free (cot, high chair, stroller cane).
Possibility to rent the weekend at a price of 150 €, during periods outside school holidays. With the option of the raised bed is 20 € per bed.
Animals are not allowed.

Great location and property was lovely. A more friendly welcome from the caretaker(?) would have been nice and it is important to say that electricity costs are not included. Not a problem, but not stated clearly on the info (hidden in additional details).

Tolle und sehr gemütliche Unterkunft in schöner Lage am Waldrand. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass für mich nicht klar war, dass Bettwäsche und Handtücher separat gebucht und bezahlt werden müssen. Ev. habe ich dies aber auch in den Bedingungen übersehen. Hortense war aber sehr flexibel und hat uns Bettwäsche und Handtücher rasch und unkompliziert zur Verfügung gestellt.

Superbe week-end de l'ascension à moto !

Très beau chalet en pleine nature et dans un endroit calme. Le chalet est très bien équipé et bien entretenu. La propriétaire est très sympathique et réactive en cas de besoin. Séjour de 3 nuits, pour profiter des routes locales à moto. Le chalet est équipé d'un garage où 3-4 motos peuvent passer la nuit sans problème. À quelques minutes du centre de Gérardmer où toutes les commodités sont disponibles.Nous reviendrons !

Das Chalet ist gemütlich und die Küche voll ausgestattet. Selbst mitgebracht hatte ich Toilettenpapier, Küchentücher, Bettbezug und im Nachbar-Ort Gerardmer Lebensmittel eingekauft. Die Matratze war nicht so gut für mich, aber da geht es nur um meine persönliche Vorliebe. Die Lage am Hang (vorne Aussicht; hinten Wald) war super, ich habe die Ruhe sehr genossen. Beim Check-Out musste ich noch meinen verbrauchten Strom bei der Gastgeberin Vallence bezahlen.Die Kommunikation mit ihr war sehr gut.

Traumhaftes Chalet in winterlicher Atmosphäre

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt mit wunderbarem Schnee an Weihnachten. Das Chalet ist sehr schön und man hat eine tolle Aussicht übers das Tal und es eignet sich prima als Startpunkt für tolle Winterwanderungen und den Weihnachtsmarkt in Geradmer.

Een goed en licht huis, móói terras, goede keuken, wat te klein voor 6 personen - zéker badkamer: verouderde douchecabine, weinig opbergruimte. Jammer dat er geen relaxte tuinstoelen zijn, alleen 4 zitstoelen voor op het terras.

Chalet agréable avec vue imprenable !

Une semaine de soleil ! Chalet avec une belle terrasse et un séjour avec de grandes baies pour profiter du paysage. Emplacement idéal pour randonner. Bercés par le chant des oiseaux et le ruisseau, un grand bol de nature. Les bémols : accueil inexistant (après 1000 kms parcourus, il m’a fallu téléphoner pour savoir comment rentrer dans le chalet, pas reçu de consignes auparavant). J’avais la veille et le jour même envoyé un message pour annoncer notre heure d’arrivée. Mais sans réponse. Pas de prise de contact non plus durant tout notre séjour (une semaine) pour savoir si tout se passait bien. Pas un mot de M. Valllence lors de sa venue pour installer le lave linge parti en réparation. Attention à l’électricité à régler en sus. Noté dans l’annonce mais pas assez précisément selon moi.
