Lovely place for a respite on a long road trip!

We did a road trip from Colorado to California with our two dogs in tow and stayed here one night on our way there. I only wish we could have stayed longer!! This house is so wonderful- lots of modern upgrades with just enough of the old authentic feel of the house mixed in. Super comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the awesome front porch watching the dogs play in the front yard in the evening. Nothing across the street except some goats in the field and a beautiful view of a mountain. So relaxing and much needed after a long drive. I wish we had more time to explore the surroundings. Such a nice area. We would definitely stay here again and would have on our way back- but it was already booked up!

Super Clean and cozy cottage

We loved our stay here! It was in the perfect location for the Volleyball tournament we had in Richfield, but we want to come back for some snow fun in the winter and lake fun in the summer! I’m only sad we didn’t get to stay longer and enjoy everything with more time. The cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything was there and so much attention to detail. Every appliance and houseware you could think of plus coffee and hot chocolate. The home was so comfortable and spacious. Games in the closet too for a cozy night in. While I was there I locked myself out and the owners were right there to help within minutes. The nicest people ever! I don’t know why anyone would ever stay at a hotel with this around the corner. Highly recommend!

Great use of space

This property has had a lot of time and money put into it to modernize it and remodel. It is equipped with updated appliances and furnishings. The decor is soothing and calming. The space is open, comfortable and family friendly. The bed in the master bedroom was too firm ( but that is just personal preference). The room was clean, large and simply decorated. There is a hide a bed in the living room. In the TV room we took the cushions and made a bed on the floor. The front lawn has been re-planted with enough room for family gatherings. The kitchen has everything you need, including a large island for meal preparation or eating meals. The laundry room is well equipped with bathroom towels. It is right off the main highway with room for lots of parking. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is wonderfully quiet at night. Well worth driving a couple of miles to get away from the freeway. It’s very well-equipped: all the kitchen & bathroom stuff, lots of lounging space, comfortable furniture. Even a mudroom to park your bikes. Quick text replies from the owner. Total five stars.

The price was right but the property was misrepresented. It wasn't quiet. The hwy runs directly in front of home and was very noisy. It was fine in the house but forget sitting on the porch etc. Nothing can be done about that but I would like to have known. The fire pit in a private backyard was a stretch. Very uninviting. Not private and not actually a pit.Cob webs and dirt around all the windows. We swept the porch and wiped down chairs prior to hanging out. The inside wasn't bad but needed a deep cleaning. Overall the place felt a bit neglected and in need of some TLC. Julia offered a refund of second night if we went elsewhere but we didn't want the hassle.
