We were on a trip to celebrate anniversary, and the apartment was perfect. The first step into this historic building with exposed brick, staircase in atrium was the Galveston vibe we were after. We walked to shopping, antique stores, and restaurants. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the apartment. Very comfortable and Joanna was very welcoming and provided such nice touches! Definitely would not hesitate staying here again or recommending to others. We utilized the parking which was a block & 1/2 away. Nice to have a reserved space.

For a true experience of Galveston, I highly recommend the Whiteside Flat. It's the ease of visiting some amazing Galveston restaurants or a stroll any time of day/night. The hosts were amazing and many amenities were provided. Hope to return

This place is exceptional. We were blown away at how charming and beautifully decorated the property is. Our hosts greeted us upon arrival and were available to us the whole time since they are nearby. The property is historic, but still modern. It is centrally located and easily within walking distance of everything to see in the Stand district. I choose this property because of it's close proximity to the hotel next door and boy, what an upgrade. Thanks, Joanna! We know where we're staying next time we're in Galveston!

This is a fantastic property with amazing hosts!!! Located right in the middle of “The Strand” district, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are just a short walk. Excellent parking garage (1 block away) provided by the host was very convenient. Our unit was the top floor, so a couple flights of stairs, but the host helped us with our luggage upon check-in which was GREATLY appreciated.

The building has a beautiful ambiance. The history, art, and gracious hosts makes the flat a must experience. The cherry on top is a dedicated secure parking space and a location that you can reasonably walk to any of the downtown attractions.

Joanna and Brian met us upon arrival and helped us unload our bags. They were so welcoming and gave us a short tour and history of their amazing place. We were given a bottle of wine, sweet and savory snacks, and a fridge full of bottled water. They could not have been nicer!
