Ideal location 15 minutes from DEAUVILLE and 10 minutes from HONFLEUR by car. The SEA is 5 minutes by car and if you like walking, there is a path that goes directly there.

In the house, you will find ALL THE COMFORT with:

- on the ground floor: An open kitchen with a beautiful dining room / a living room with TYPICAL FIREPLACE, COCOONING sofa with TV and office area / WC.

All in all brilliant and very nice. The house has a lot of charm and is exactly as shown in the information/on the pictures. Only the beds for adults are a little small (I’m 193) and are hence a little downside

Barneville nearby Honfleur, great location

Location and views are great. Interior is "brocante" with modern equipment. Twin beds are too small for two normal seized persons (120*190 cm and 120*185cm). Friendly host and quick service. We loved the remote feeling at the house and surroundings

Charming quirky property set in very quiet countryside Not suitable for children or anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are very steep Great location for honfleur and surrounding countryside Madame and her daughter were charming Would benefit from a WiFi upgrade as it was very poor and a DVD player would be a useful addition for the quiet evenings

Rural idyll

We had a fantastic stay over Easter with our family of five (three teenagers). The house is pretty inside and out, with a farmhouse feel/furnishing and in the traditional timbered Norman style. Few houses nearby, and just outside the pretty village, so very peaceful, a haven for birdlife and plants. Built by the owners more than 50 years ago, it's full of charm, quirkiness, and has a wonderful and very large rambling garden that stretches down the hillside, packed with wild flowers and large cherry trees in blossom. The owners were super kind, showing us round and encouraging us to explore the gardens and make ourselves at home during the week, which we did. There is also a sunny terrace a little below the house with a fireplace we could cook over, so we had some nice evenings eating outside. There are pretty walks in the area, especially the bois du boeil (?? not sure of spelling), but it's also a nice walk to the sea from the house - about 40 minutes; just go down the path that runs alongside the garden and follow your nose from there. All in all I highly recommend.

Nous avons réservé cette maison et avons été globalement déçues.L’accueil était assez rustique : la propriétaire nous a parlé d’une livraison de fioul et a assuré que la personne sur place saurait gérer, mais ce n’était pas le cas. La maison manquait d’entretien : poussière canapé et plusieurs éléments ne correspondaient pas aux photos de l’annonce. La “vue mer” indiquée sur la photo n’était pas réelle.Au final, le séjour n’a pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Avec un meilleur suivi, un entretien renforcé et une annonce plus fidèle, le lieu pourrait cependant être agréable.

Merci pour votre retour. Cependant nous sommes très surpris de votre commentaire. Nous sommes toujours accueillant et disponible. Nos vacanciers sont toujours très satisfaits comme en témoigne leurs avis et notes. La livraison de fuel aurait dû se faire sans problème après les consignes données au fournisseur. Avant chaque arrivée un contrôle est fait, des traces de poussière ont pu apparaître lors de votre séjour en raison de la présence de poutres et de colombages (maison rustique) La nature luxuriante en cette période vous a effectivement privé de la vue sur mer.

Magnificant maison

Nous avons eu le plaisir de passer des jours très agréables et reposants dans une maison magnifiquement située. Elle offre suffisamment d'espace pour accueillir jusqu'à cinq adultes, et l'équipement est très bien. Si le temps avait été un peu moins 'normand', cela aurait pu être encore mieux, mais on le sait bien quand on choisit de venir dans cette belle région.

Familie (mit Hund)

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Ein wundervolles romantisches Ferienhaus, mit traumhaftem, sehr gepflegtem Anwesen. Der Grillplatz wurde von uns sehr gerne und viel genutzt. Das Haus im typisch normannischem Stil ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und bietet alles was man braucht. Man merkt, dass die Vermieter in dem Haus gelebt hatten und es nicht immer "nur" Ferienhaus war. Es ist alles zweckmäßig. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen liebenswert und zuvorkommend. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns sogar über Reparaturarbeiten an der Straße informiert. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, dass selbst unser ängstlicher Hund Entspannung fand. Man ist sehr schnell am Meer, mit dem Auto aber auch zu Fuss (ca 30-40 Min.). Die Lage ist auch ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Ausflugsziele in der Region. Es war ein perfekter Urlaub!

Ein Traum von einem Haus!

Das Haus ist vorzüglich, sowohl die Ausstattung als auch die Lage betreffend, und war das meistfotografierte Objekt unseres vierzehntägigen Aufenthalts. Selbst bei 40 Grad Außentemperatur war es im Erdgeschoss angenehm kühl und im herrlichen Garten mit seinen Stockrosen, Rosenbüschen und Hortensien kann man mit der Sonne bzw. mit dem Schatten wandern. Ein schattiger ruhiger Wanderweg beginnt gleich vor dem Gartentor, bis zum endlosen Sandstrand von Pennedeppie und bis zum gut sortierten Intermarché sind es 5 Autominuten, nach Honfleur etwa 7, in unseren Lieblingsort Villerville etwa 10. Die Inneneinrichtung ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll, die Treppen wirklich steil, aber dann geht man eben langsam rauf und runter. Auf den sehr guten Matratzen kann man toll schlafen. Auch unsere Hunde haben es sehr genossen. Wir kommen wieder!

Gut- aber gefährlich

Super schönes Grundstück in toller Lage für Naturliebhaber. Leider gibt es dort keine Möglichkeit seinen Müll zu entsorgen. Die Treppensitustion ist schlichtweg als extrem gefährlich zu beschreiben. Wir hatten 2 ältere Damen dabei und 2 Kinder. Für diesen Typen sind die Treppen viel zu steil und zu nah beieinander angeordnet. Möchte man nachts vom Schlaf - ins Badezimmer ist der Durchgang ca 30cm breit. Danach würde man die Treppe herunterfallen. (Keine Übertreibung)

Entspannter Urlaub in romantischem Normandie-Haus

Geräumiges, geschmackvoll restauriertes Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage. Trotz kühler Nächte war es angenehm warm. Gute Ausgangsposition für interessante Ausflüge an der Küste und im Land. Sehr sympathische Vermieter. Wir (und unser Hund) haben uns gut erholt. Merci.

Idylle in ländlicher Umgebung

Sehr schönes altes Haus im normannischen Stil. Liegt in einem schönen Garten. Leider sind die beiden schönen Kamine im Haus nicht zu benutzen. Aber der BBQ Kamin auf der Terrasse ist auch sehr gemütlich. Schöne Einrichtung. Stilvoll. Die Betten sind für grosse Leute etwas kurz .Aber bequem. Die Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Schöner auf dem Lande bei Honfleur

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Urlaub. Das Haus ist typisch normannisch mit einigen Nebengebäuden und schönem Außengelände mit großem, gut nutzbarem Aussenkamin (auch Grill). Das Haus ist angenehm eingerichtet mit schönen Möbeln und Bildern. In der Küche ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert.

Très bon séjour en Normandie

Très bon accueil de la propriétaire, avec un bon jus de pomme au frigidaire. La maison est charmante, malgré de nombreuses marches. Le jardin très grand n'est pas très pratiquable avec de jeunes enfants car très en pente. Belle tranquilité. La vue sur la mer est visible par beau temps depuis le 1er étage et non la terrasse. Pas de chemin, comme mentionné dans l'annonce pour accéder à la mer, qui semble bien loin.

Excellent séjour

La maison est très agréable, jolie et situé dans un environnement calme et en pleine nature. Elle est localisée tout proche de Honfleur et pas loin de Deauville et Trouville. Idéale pour les familles avec ses 4 chambres et 2 salles de bain, sa grande cuisine et salle à manger. Tout est très propre et accueillant. Les enfants peuvent profiter du grand jardin. Nous recommandons.

Séjour très agréable.

Nous avons bénéficié d’un grand calme, d’un paysage d’automne magnifique et d’un accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. C’est une maison où l’on se sent bien, où on a de la place et tout le confort nécessaire. Seule réserve, mais qui tient au fait que j’ai personnellement du mal à marcher, la présence d’une corde (cela dit très solide) à la place d’une rampe d’escalier pour accéder aux chambres, ce qui en revanche n’a pas du tout gêné les enfants. Cela ne modifie en rien notre avis très positif sur cette belle location située dans un très beau cadre.
