Luxury 4BR Chalet - Walking Distance to Lake and 8 min to Skiing/Lodge

Chalet, 4 Bedroom 3 1/2 Bathroom with Basement Family Room. Sleeps 12 (max) Comfortably. Master Bedroom Has a Queen Bed and a master bathroom along with a fold up Cot and cable TV. Basement bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed along with a Day Bed and Cable TV. Bedroom #3 on 2nd Floor has a full-size bed, two twin beds and a Steaming TV. Bedroom #4 has a queen bed and a twin bed. Loft has a nice and comfortable Couch along with a TV to hook up your gaming console. Each Floor has a Bathroom. 1st Floor had a half bath with a laundry room. Living Room Has 2 Couches that sits 7 with a 55" TV with Cable. Kitchen/Dining is fully stocked with all needed to feel like home. Between Dining and Kitchen there is room to sit 11 people. The basement Family Room had room to sit an additional 12 people. The octagon table converts to a poker table and bumper pool table. There is a 46" TV with Cable and board games for the kids and a Checkers in coffee table that can be pulled out. Foosball table for the college kids at heart. There is a rear deck that can sit 12 people with a BBQ to. Front Deck has a table for 6. There is also a Fire Pit to use. (Need to bring own wood). House has Central Air and Heat. Plenty of wildlife around to view.

The Community has many things throughout the year for the entire family to enjoy. Summer has the following: Lake Beach, Catch and release fishing (License needed). Free kayak, Canoe, Rowboat, Paddle Board available. Horse Back Riding, Pool, Tiki Bar and Full Restaurant. Winter: Skiing, Tubing, Full Restaurant. Spring and Fall has many different things to do around the area. Paws and Claws, Spas, Restaurants, Fishing, Hunting (not in Masthope), Hiking, Bird watching. Best of all is Relaxing and enjoying your family and friends. Putting the long hard days at work on the side for a weekend, a week or even the season. I know it works for us. Enjoy our home like it's your own.

Masthope Mountain now chares a daily Amenities fee that is paid when you check in at the POC. The fee is $10 a day per person. Pay only if you use. You can choose what days you want to use.

Family vacation

We had a great vacation. House was spacious and comfortable. Glenn is a wonderful host, very friendly and attentive to all our needs. We enjoyed the back deck and seeing the many friendly deer. I highly recommend staying here.

Family ski get away

This is a very family friendly house and property. Plenty of room inside for the kids to play/watch tv away from the adults. The open floor plan allows everyone to ‘be together’ while meals are being prepped and room to eat together. We have also stayed here in the summer, which was great for different reasons.

Our family had a great time with this stay at Glenn’s wonderful house. Very easy to communicate with his. Lots of wildlife- Area has many tame deer and we saw a few bald eagles

We had a wonderful week during our second summer stay at the fully equiped chalet. The facilities at the Masthope community, i.e. the pools and lake are excellent. The chalet owner is very responsive should any issues arise. He went above and beyond the call of duty when he drove several hours to the house arriving around 11:00 PM to replace a dysfunctional gas grill.

Great getaway!

Ten old friends stayed here for 8 nights. The house was large enough for all of us. The house was neat and clean and met or exceeded our expectations. The host was available and responsive when I had questions leading up to our stay. Looking forward to going back next year.

Lake life

Great location near the lake and community pool. Loads of deer to keep the grandkids amazed. Easy drive to additional day adventures (Bushkill Falls, Camelback, etc). Nice fire pit for s’mores, story-telling and more.

Beautiful, perfect house!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home! Glenn, the host was super responsive and helpful, the house was immaculately clean and very well stocked. We loved having the board games and the kids especially loved the foosball and bumper pool tables. It's just a perfect place for a family getaway, with lots of space and beds for everyone. We can't wait to go back!

Serene and Relaxing Vacation Spot

House was beautiful ane had everything we needed to serve a family of six and extended family throughout our week. Plenty of space to sit and relax. Lots of wildlife to watch from the front and back deck. The teens enjoyed the finished basement (and the separation from the parents.) Masthope has a lot of things to do outside of the home as well. We particularly enjoyed the pool, lake and mini-golf. What a wonderful spot for families to sit and relax together.

Family Ski Get-a-way

This house was wonderful! Plenty of room for the kids to play (inside and out) and the adults to gather and talk/relax. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The house itself was beautiful and the wood carvings added a special touch. Everyone enjoyed the overall atmosphere and seeing the many deer on a daily basis. A great place to get away, relax, recharge and make memories. We plan on coming back in the summer to enjoy the many other amenities besides the ski mountain.

Better than the pictures

The property is well maintained with an array of kitchen utensils and appliances. Online pictures understate the home's spacious accommodations. Quality furniture, two decks, solid Wi-Fi, and, my favorite, an easy-on, easy-off gas fireplace in the large gathering area were beyond expectations. The host was responsive and gracious. Our guests' reactions: "Wow"!

Nice house, great location!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. The house was immaculate and in excellent condition. If I had to nitpic, I would say that the beds were a bit firm for our liking and we missed having a large table and comfortable chairs that we could all (8 of us) sit around for meals and game nights, but these are personal preferences. Otherwise, the house was very roomy and comfortable. We very much liked the layout and proximity to the beach. Glenn was a perfect host and the entire process was as smooth as can be. I do not hesitate to highly recommend this property!

Improvements

Our stay was great, plenty of room for all our family. We had our daughters fly in from Wisconsin and Texas and we came from Florida. There are a few things that could be improved upon. One would be for there to be a king size bed in the master bedroom and the entrance into the basement is unlevel. There seems to be a stone missing from under the mat to come in the door. With the mat covering it, you could easily twist your ankle if not careful. And lastly the entrance with the key pad is very dark at night. Maybe a motion sensor light might be a very good idea. Enjoyed our stay at will rebook this home in the future.
