“We had a wonderful stay at Paul’s gorgeous house in Sámara. The house was spacious, clean, and very well maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The pool was amazing, and we enjoyed it so much. The beautiful green areas and gardens made the property feel peaceful, tropical, and inviting. The beach was just a short walk away. And the sunsets were beautiful. We also enjoyed seeing monkeys, birds, and iguanas, which made the stay even more special. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful, a perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family and friends. Paul was a great host, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. Everything went smoothly, and we really appreciated how easy and comfortable the experience was. We truly enjoyed our time here, and we would absolutely recommend Paul’s house to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation in Sámara.

We loved the location- Samara is a great town and this house could not be better located in terms of access to a gorgeous beach!! The property itself is showing a little wear but as long as you aren’t expecting Ritz Carlton level finished you will enjoy this place and the setting.

Casa Pacifica was a beautiful home, clean, well equipped, and maintained. Kids loved the pool and both beaches were very close. Actually it felt more like 3 beaches with the small more private one walking distance and downtown Samara and Playa Carrillo both a short golf cart ride away. Golf carts are easy travel on the main roads. You can also walk to Samara on the beach during low tide. We had a wonderful stay and a perfect last 4 days in beautiful Costa Rica!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home near the beach in Costa Rica. The location was excellent—close enough to easily walk to the beach. Nearby restaurants and plenty of outdoor activities. The house was very peaceful and private.The house was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the owners take great pride in keeping the property in excellent condition.What truly made our experience special was the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and eager to help with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again on a future trip to Costa Rica.

We were a three generation family of 12 and all of us enjoyed our 6-night stay. The amenities and space was comfortable and convenient for our group. Casa Pacifica is a short walk to Playa Sámara and also within walking distance to Playa Carillo - both are beautiful beaches. Easy and prompt communication with Sámara Rentals. Great vacation.

The check in process was easy, buy the rental office was a little challenging to find. The sign is small and it is in a back corner amongst other shops. After we found it, the process was smooth. The rental agent even escorted us to the property to be sure we were comfortable with the locks and safe. The property was clean and they had cleaners come twice during our stay which was great. The a/c units were a blessing with the heat and humidity and the pool was used a lot. We felt safe in the house, but they also had a security guard each evening which made us feel even more secure. We had to scoop a couple of crabs from the pool each morning, but there was equipment there to make this possible. We walked to the beach and swam in the ocean multiple times since it was so close. The only downside was the living room fan. It was not working and would have been nice to help with air movement in the big living room. We did contact the rental office and they checked but it was not able to be repaired during our stay.The owner and rental agency were great with communication and answering our questions.

Thanks for the great review! Yes, the living room fan failed just before you arrived and we are now working to get it replaced. Electrical items seem to have a short life in the tropics, Pura Vida!

Paul, your home was wonderful, very surprised how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils, pot and pans. Very helpful because we did lots of family dinners.The sunsets at that end of the bay were the best. Just before 6:00 the short walk to the beach the family gathered with locals to say "good by " to the day.

We had a great stay. We were a group of 10 of all ages celebrating a 50th birthday. Loved the bikes to ride along the beach to town. The pool was great to come back to or start our morning yoga beside. The property management was great. Provided us with so many local options and made sure the check in process was smooth. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The house was great for a party of 10. Loved the vibe in Samara. It was very nice having The Hideaway Hotel about two doors down where we could grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I recommend renting a car and or golf cart to get to and from the town. Great time!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Casa Pacifica. The outdoor space was incredible. We especially enjoyed the pool, the iguanas, the birds and the tranquility. We loved taking the kayaks and paddle boards to the island for snorkelling and exploring. The beach on New Year's Eve had a spectacular display of fireworks. Great memories!

Overall stay was really good. With just a few issues during the first few days that were addressed fairly well we enjoyed our stay. House is centrally located near the beach, markets and some good restaurants.

Our group of 4 couples and several children really enjoyed our stay. Overall it was great. We were bummed that the bikes were in pretty bad disrepair so we were not able to use them, but we quickly realized that we didn't need them as walking and driving was the best way to get around. The access to the beach was great, the grounds were beautiful, and the pool was perfect. We had monkeys playing in the trees surrounding the properties almost every day. It was super hot when we were there so the air conditioning struggled to keep it as cool as we would have liked, but not much you can do about that. The rooms got nice and cool at night so that was great. Paul was a great host and the property managers were communicative and helpful. We look forward to hopefully visiting again - maybe during the wet season when it's not so hot and dry.

Very nice house for 9 adults, great location, short walk to the beach, loved the pool & outdoor space, well equipped kitchen. Manager very responsive to any problems, though could have used more communication with when staff would show up, ie landscapers, security, cleaners. Enjoyed our stay & a break from winter!
