We love staying here. our only complaint is the bed. They are hard/stiff. But the grounds are gorgeous. Good location and we love be able to have a place to work/gather/hang out. The pier is great for boats to pickup and drop off at the end of the day.

Nice property with nice extras. Appreciated the paddle boards and clean dock. Good location that was easy to walk anywhere to, like most of the island. Staff was very kind too. Stayed an extra day at the end.

Can't say enough about how great this place was to stay. Very clean, lots of space for the family to spread out a bit. Beds were comfy, 2 bathrooms was so convenient. The chairs and hammock on the front porch were so great to greet the sunrise on. Beautiful pier steps away from the room. The pool and swings were perfect to relax on at the end of the day. The property is a bit south of the split, but it was only a 10-15 minute walk (or shorter bike ride or golf cart ride if you're so inclined), and the seclusion helped it feel cozy and quiet. Perfect for my family trip.

The facility was amazing, and the staff was top-notch. They assisted with bookings and helped us get our rental set up. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the space, grounds, and team that made the stay worth returning for. I also ran into the property owners on site, and they were so pleasant, they run a tight ship, and it shows. I can not wait to stay here again or at one of their other two properties.

Loved this place!

First time in Belize and loved the whole atmosphere of Caye Caulker. The condo was spotless and beds are very comfortable. Loved sitting on the porch overlooking the ocean. Used some paddle boards and cornhole games. Had a great time.

Beautiful Belize

We loved staying at #2 VeLento! Sunrise with coffee, pool for a dip, short walk to food and shops and plenty of snorkel and diving options. We only needed a golf cart ride on arrival and departure and walked everywhere. The apt and facility was super clean and staff friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

Perfect Caye Caulker Stay

This is a perfect setting for a family to relax, rewind and reset. The grounds are decorated beautifully with local flowers and palm trees. The views of the ocean are spectacular. It’s in a great location of Caye Caulker where it is more quite then the main area where you dock from water taxi. We really enjoyed the dock where the kids could swim and paddle board. We look forward to our stay next year.

Amazing

The property is everything it promises to be and more! Each night we sat on the balcony listening to the water lap onto the shore taking us into a more and more relaxed state of mind. Our Belizean Hostess and Host, Nazle and Don were truly incredible. We will return for more "Go Slow" Caye Caulker Vibe at this property.

Amazing. They where so accommodating to us. We booked 2 days before trip and they where so helpful to our faimly. What ever we needed they provided. If your going to stay in caye caulker i highly recommend staying here. Pool right out side home and steps from the gorgeous peir.

Fantastic spring break with teens!

The property was exactly as described. Very clean and well stocked! The office helped set up taxi service from the water taxi. Super convenient to pre-order drinks to be stocked in the fridge for arrival. The office has additional drinks for purchase which was nice throughout the vacation.The location is perfect for enjoying the oceanfront but also being close enough to walk to town for meals and entertainment.We will definitely book at this location again (any of the Velento Rentals) if we find ourselves back on Caye Caulker.

Caye Caulker leaves a lot to be desired

The property was i would say just fine. The dock is not very useable because this side of the island is so windy 24-7 and there is an unbelievable amount of sargassum and sea grass. Caye Caulker has charm but doesnt have much to do at times doesn't feel safe.

The staff is amazing and works really hard for their visitors to have an incredible experience on property. As to the property, it is sensational. It is centrally located to move about. Within walking distance to many restaurants as well as a short golf cart trip to all amenities C.C. has to offer. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The property includes a very clean pool and gorgeous dock. Will be back to use again.

Reviewer Comments: This was our second time at Velento on Caye Caulker, we liked it so much the first time we had to come back, this time with a friend in tow to get him some down time in paradise.Second visit didn't disappoint. Staff, as always, incredibly friendly and helpful. Arrangements for taxis, for a cart rental, dining recommendations, everything was on point. The room (suite, more like it), was everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen so we could whip up a meal when we didn't feel like leaving. Location is excellent - easy walking distance to everything on the island, but off the busier streets so we never even heard a cart go by. Both of the Velento properties we stayed at here were just excellent, helped us all have a truly relaxing and recharging experience.

Fantastic Stay

This is a truly nice place. We stayed in unit number two, directly facing the ocean, and the views were stunning. The staff were all friendly and helpful during our time. We did wake up one morning to no available water for the entire property. It was definitely an inconvenience that particular morning (especially with no ability to flush toilets - no need to go into details). But with that said, it was nobody’s fault and just something that happened. The staff all worked hard to have things up and running again. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated inside, with the basic things you would need to cook your own meals. My only two suggestions, given the price to stay at this unit, is to provide some nice quality coffee for the guests and also not charged so much to rent the golf carts. $75 per day is really extreme. We ended up walking across the island every day in the heat, and that wasn’t particularly fun, but we used the mantra of “Go Slow” and overall had a lot of fun on this wonderful island.
