Bungalow Oaks - Steps from Historical Main Street

Two-night minimum/Four-night maximum. Salado Permit No. STR-20250030
Built in 2018 as a “guest house/dream come true” next to our main residence. We are located at 335 College Hill Drive one block from Main Street. Short walks to restaurants, a popular creekside microbrewery and convenient to shops and local eateries. Our Bungalow Oaks has an attached carport, and the main room has a king-size bed next to a massive antique armoire. A separate bathroom with a walk-in shower and antique vanity has all the privacy of home. The coffee bar has a small refrigerator, an ice maker, a pod-type coffee maker and a microwave. For morning and evening relaxation there are two oversized rockers on the back porch for bird watching and deer viewing along the dry creek below.

Bungalow Oaks is the perfect getaway place. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay special , from the fresh homemade blueberry muffins left for breakfast in the refrigerator to the bottle of wine to help celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Very comfortable bed, wonderful shower and relaxing back porch to have your coffee. Very close to the heart of town and an easy walk to the shopping and hang out areas. This will be our go to place to stay when we are in the area.

Everything was wonderful from the precious cottage to the great deck on back to the location to shops. So clean and charming! Nice surprise in fridge for breakfast and well stocked for overnight stays. Would definitely rent again!!

We really enjoyed our stay! Bungalow Oaks is so well done! Its proximity to Main Street was perfect! We loved sitting in the back porch in the mornings and watching the deer. The hosts were so kind and thought of everything!

This little bungalow was amazing! My daughter and I enjoyed it so much! We got to watch the deer in the back on the creek in the mornings with a cup of coffee. It was just beautiful!

We loved our stay! The bungalow is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Very well-designed and well-stocked with comfortable bedding, soft oversized towels, snacks and water. Ideally located close to restaurants and shops, yet still very quiet and peaceful.

The location of this bungalow was perfect! The atmosphere was so relaxing and I wanted to stay longer. The hosts are next door but not intruding at all. They thought of everything to make our stay the best! Morning coffee on the porch was amazing!

Great Place to Stay

This was our second time to stay at Bungalow Oaks. Very beautiful and cozy place while visiting Salado for the Christmas Stroll. We had everything we needed and plan to return this summer. Highly recommend!!
