Stayed here for golf weekend at mill creek. Great location to course. Stayed in another unit previously and this unit was a lot nicer with great amenities. Will definitely stay here again on next trip to salado.
Took a quick trip to Salado for our anniversary. The Woodley house was a great home-base for quick trips to Belton/Temple, Austin and the lake. We like to escape to Salado every year. This place was a great hideaway - we loved the Easter decorations. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The place was clean and well equipped. No complaints at all.
Beautiful one bedroom home perfect for a weekend getaway! Very well stocked, beautifully decorated, and a great location. Everything you need to be comfortable and focus on relaxing.
We had a great first stay at the Woodley House. It was easy to find, very welcoming, a great location and clean upon arrival. They really thought of everything and the little details all around make you feel right at home. Or, possibly better than home as my daughter told me that it was nicer than our house. Ha! We will definitely stay again!
Honestly, the Woodley House is one of those places you don’t realize you needed until you’re there. It’s tucked away in Salado, super quiet, really comfortable, and just easy to be in. Nothing feels overdone—it’s clean, cozy, and set up so you can actually relax. Mornings are slow, nights are calm, and you kind of forget to check the time. We went there to stay somewhere, but it ended up feeling more like a reset. When we left, we were already talking about coming back.
We had a nice stay at The Woodley House during a family reunion weekend in Salado. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were games for my children to play. Lots of Texas charm.
The home is remodeled and very nicely decorated. The location is perfect for exploring the town. I didn’t realize there was so much to do! Very quiet neighborhood in beautiful location.
The remodeling and decor of this place is amazing! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. My one suggestion is the listing should be corrected because it says queen size bed in the bedroom, but it's a full, not queen. We enjoyed our stay!
Everything was great except limited TV service. Will plan to use them again next time I visit Salado.

Cute condo in Salado
The condo was clean and updated and quiet. I did not hear the attached wall neighbors. The location was good in that it was close to the little town of Salado and not far from highway I-35 acess. I did have two problems with checkin. I was driving 10 hours the day of checkin and asked for access process a few days ahead, but was told it would not be given by host till checkin date around noon for 4pm. I had to pull off highway and text host around 3pm after she forgot to message me checkin and then she gave me a wrong adress, which i discovered in a subsequent text. I feel someone at VRBO owes me compensation for all my inconveniences for not getting timely or accurate check in info.
